This hotel is owned ( or run ) by a former member of staff from the nearby 5 star Negresso & it shows. Its a small hotel so pick your rooms wisely, compact & bijox is putting it mildly ! There is no lift but it has only 2 floors so its manageable. We only stayed 2 nights so didn't...

Villa Rivoli is a small three star hotel situated a short walk from Promenade d´Anglais. The hotel has been renovated lately with well equipped rooms. Service is excellent and the breakfast (not included in rate) is very good.

This Nice hotel is in a superb location, i.e., a five-minute walk from the beach. The staff are great; the courtyard is quiet; and, the Internet is free. However, the room in which I stayed (12b) was pretty small--even when compared to my hotel in Paris, which was less expensive and located in the 6th Arrondisement. The bathroom was definitely...

The staff at this hotel were so helpful and friendly. Our only disappointment was our room was on the ground floor, which was close to a busy pavement. However, we managed to move to the first floor where we had really nice little room. The hotel is only a few mins walk from the beach, with plenty of shops -...

We stayed in the 'villa revolting' June 6, 2012 for 2 nights. We had already spent 4 weeks travelling and had no complaints about any accommodation until our arrival here.We had booked this hotel 12 months in advance. We had a room beneath ground level and were only just able to fit both our suitcases. The room had material over...

Management response:

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, We feel very sorry that you were upset about the room category " lower ground floor". Yes indeed the window is much smaller than in the Tradition and Superior Categories This is the main reason of the difference of the room rate. We are sorry to learn that the cat of the neighbors came through your...

Railway stn in op direction still walking distance , maybe not with lg cases about 1 to 1.5 kms but...

Owner was very personable. Excellent hotel, location and price for a 65 year old school teacher with wife. Be careful in the garden. There is poison oak covering the shading structure.

We stayed here for only one night, but it was a lovely, traditionally french place. The staff were all friendly,The room was clean, the bed big and comfortable, and the room had a little balcony overlooking the garden with the cutest shutters! The breakfast was served in the sitting/dining area, and could be eaten outside. There were comfy sofas to...

Just stayed with my daughters in this lovely little boutique hotel in Nice, and had a fabulous time. A traditional pink provencal style bedroom - a little cosy with three adults in the room but with air-conditioning, kettle and TV we managed just fine. The fact that there is a lovely sitting room and garden area, meant we had space...

My husband and I stayed in a standard room at the Hotel Rivoli during the weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix this May. The hotel, a converted private residence, was very quaint, with french windows and shutters leading out onto tiny balconies outside the rooms. It was ten to fifteen minutes drive from the airport, and very conveniently situated. We...
