This hotel does as it says on the box but if you're after a buzzy hotel and atmosphere, it's not here. Everybody seems to sleep there only! And probably correctly so as Nice old town and its crowded promenade offers so much more than any hotel can. The basic rooms were beautifully clean, a good size and lovely and quiet....

I have been staying on and off at The Westminster for 40 years. I return because to me it epitomises Nice and I have watched it improve steadily from the early days of rattling air conditioners and single glazing to the modern hotel it is today earning it's 4 Star rating easily. For the last few years I have had...

Being from the U.S. I got the hotel blind not knowing what I was going to get. We do buses when we can, and it was a breeze from the airport. While there spend the money on the brunch, it is open early and there is a nice assortment of foods so you can skimp a bit on the day...

Just returned from a week's stay at the Hotel Westminster. Can't fault this hotel for location - plenty of restaurants nearby (La Havane and Bistrot Pirate both recommended) and only 5-10 minutes walk into the old town. We had a city view room on the 2nd floor, on the side of the building. Room was spacious and very clean and...

The hotel staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Excellent location, proximity to prom / beach, close to shops & restaraunts, walkable to railway station, etc. Great sea view. Superb breakfast. The bedrooms could be improved by - - extending WiFi range to work in bedrooms, - providing tea/coffee making fcilities, - increasing hot water pressure to get an effective...

We stayed at this hotel for one night. In only having one night to experience Nice we thought is was important to stay close to the action and we were not disapppointed. The hotel has a large lift servicing all the floors so getting our luggage to the room was no problem. The rooms although not large had everything we...

The location of the hotel is great - on the Promenade des Anglais. Easily accessible to old town and resturants. Lovely views overlooking the sea. Room good with air conditioning and clean. Porters helpful with your luggage if you required it. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Bar staff very helpful in the evening whilst sitting on front balcony overlooking the promenade....

The location is superb - on Promenade des Anglais with great sea views, but sadly they rely on this because there are no other good things to say. A hotel in this price league and of this type should have a porter on the door but they haven't so the only option is to drag your cases up the [dirty...

Dear David N We are in receipt of your comments and thank you for sharing your experience on Tripadvisor. We are glad that you enjoyed the location of the hotel and the Breakfast room but we have noted that, overall, the quality of our service was not up to your expectations and we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience you...

Hotel Westminster we will definitely be back! Our group consisted of 4 girls aged 26. Brilliant location, central and on the promenade. We walked everywhere. It is much more expensive to eat and drink on the promenade, so well worth a walk to the Old Town- where the food is much better anyway! Two of us had a sea view...
