We stayed here in February during carnivale. We were greeted by the friendly staff - Lionel - who gave us great recommendations on restaurants and tips on how to best enjoy the city. We were then upgraded to a better room (maybe it wasn't packed due to it being off-peak). The room itself was clean and the bed was really...

We spent three very comfortable nights here in February. The rooms were spacious, the showers effective and the staff very friendly and really helpful. One lovely lady rearranged our taxi to the airport and had a long conversation in English about the scaffolding that had been removed from the front of the building that day, and the ongoing building of...

Nice hotel with excellent location. We got topfloor room with amazing view over city. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to shoppingmall and restaurants enough nearby. We were really surprised of three stars- this hotel is worth every penny and should be 4 stars.

It is a hotel which is well positioned and functionally acceptable with lower than neighboring pricing and despite the renovations which are in process these are transparent to the guests. However, the initial reception and consequent attitude at the reception are most discouraging. We had three incidents where cooperation was fundamentally lacking. Firstly our ignorance of taxi rules were met...

Excellent location - very convenient for Le Promenade des Anglais and good selection of restaurants. A modern hotel in a beautiful old building. Good breakfast available in basement. Staff very helpful and approachable.

Great location only 10 minutes walk to the train station. Fantastic quirky decor, room modern and sparse, no tea or coffee making facilities. But very comfortable bed and great shower. 24 hour reception who were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location and the room and amenities were fantastic! Such a shame as one of the female receptionists was uncontrollably rude! She snickered, rolled her eyes and gave dirty looks to my partner and I EVERY time we went through the lobby. Whenever we asked for directions, recommendations or help it appeared as such an...

We had booked the cheapest room but were upgraded to a massive Executive room! The room was huge and pretty, with a very comfortable king size bed. Great location: close to the centre, some excellent restaurants near by, a bakery for breakfast and a supermarket. Also quite close to the train station.
