We went through Trip Advisor before we booked this trip to make sure we were going to a decent hotel and because of the reports we decided to go ahead. What a disappointment. Our room (23) had a grotty mouldy bathroom, dirty toilet bowl, and under the toilet bowl rim was black. The whole bathroom needed refurbishment but there was...

* Clean * Decor isn't modern but it is pleasant * Staff really friendly * Good location * Breakfast quite expensive - I would recommend going out for breakfast * Rooms aren't small but not spacious either Would definitely go again.

After trawling through lots of hotels on tripadvisor we finally picked Le Grimaldi for our 3-night stay in Nice. We paid €160 per night B&B which we thought was OK for a 4* hotel. We were sorely disappointed. The best aspects of this hotel are its location and the facade. It is split in 2, joined by a small courtyard,...

My sister and I shared a twin room for our five night stay and were delighted with our choice. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the old town, the sea front, and many other places of interest. The room was small but very clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast excellent....

Booked this for three days based on reviews in trip advisor and was very pleased. Rooms are quiet, good-sized and clean. Staff is polite and helpful. Hotel is four blocks from the busy cafe district which is crowded with restaurants, bistros, coffee shops, stores, etc. and just about 7 blocks from the fabulous square where people gather on warm nights...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and we wish it could have been longer. Next time we go to Nice we'll definitely stay here. The staff were friendly and very helpful, our room was lovely, and we especially appreciated how clean and how quiet it was. We slept really well even though it's very central, not far...

After staying in a broom closet in Paris, this hotel was a breath of fresh air. Spacious, clean, great service, friendly Eglish speacking staff. A bit on the high side of the value scale but then we have found most of France that way. Don't take the breakfast at the hotel. Way too expensive. Go for a short walk towards...

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a mini tour of Western Europe. It is quite well located, being a 5-minute walk from the beach; but it is very expensive and even after paying a huge amount for the room , we had to pay extra for any breakfast we wanted (15 Euros each per day!) and a...

My wife and I stayed at Le Grimaldi for 2 nights while vacationing in Nice. The hotel was in a good location, easy walking distance to the beach, promenade de anglais, and all the restaurants and shops. Our room was very large, with a separate shower and bathtub and 2 sinks. The remainder of the interior was clean, with a...
