An untrustworthy, antagonistic, rude property owner. After a day out, I returned to my room and noticed something had been moved. My wallet was stolen out of my rugsack!! Lost my driver's licence, cash, bank cards! I was furious, knowing who did it! I confronted the owner of the hostel and he did not show any sympathy, no questions from... More

We were just one night in that beautiful hostel and got a very beautiful room with a little tree in it!! Awesome. At the breakfast time it´s nice to be in the kitchen and have the pissibility to talk with other tourists. Possbilities for parking were quite in front of the hostel and so no problem. One thing: When we... More

Villa aramis was disappointing, similarly to one of the below reviewers, we too got a note on the door as our welcome, not very helpful. The house was not the cleanest and the cat smell pervaded every room we were in, and the noise of the cats was even worse. Location is disappointing also, it's a 10 min tram ride... More

We booked here last minute and could not be happier with the stay - a bit out of the way to the centre but very close to the main line that runs to the beach and trams are every 5 mins from what i can tell. The location is also a bit noisey but we were tired from travelling so... More

A real surprise, better than a hostel, but more importantly just as cheap and offers more privacy. the owner lives upstairs so one has the full use on one level to everything you need such as kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. He provided a great breakfast with a variety of cereals, bread, juices, teas etc. so close to tram stop... More

I booked a room for three nights at Villa Aramis in July 2010. It was the first time I was travelling on my own, and wanted to treat myself to a single room, rather than having to share a room with strangers in a hostel and deal with snoring, sleeping with my passport down my shirt, etc. When I arrived... “Ask for a room on the 1st floor. There is one room just beside sitting room where guests have a breakfast so it may annoy you if you want to sleep longer and you might feel uncomfortable is you want to go to take a shower in the morning.”
