I have never stayed in 2 stars hotels, we had a problem in our vacation house so had to find a place to stay at a short notice and something which was close to our house. When I arrived I even asked whether there was a bathroom in the room. There is a lovely shower room by the way. So I was pleasantly surprised - room is a good size, we had facing the sea on the first floor, so we had a sea and a street view and it was nice to sit in the evening and drink wine and watch what was happening. Also the hotel is just across the road from the nice beach and at the centre of everything - you may go to St Raphael or to Frejus port by feet, you don't need a car at all. Cleaning is every day, they also change towels every day. The only problem is the airconditioning is too noisy and if you switch it off it continues making weird noises, and if you want to cool the room by opening a window the noise level from the street is quite high. Also when people get inebriated at night they continue yelling in the street till 2 am or later. So for short stay and if you are going to go out late the hotel is quite good. And totally worth for the money. The only bad thing about the room - that hideous yellow wall colour. And also breakfast was awful, this is why we also didn't eat at a hotel restaurant.

We stayed here one week in July 2017 with our daughters (17, 23). We had two double rooms, both with sea view on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Rooms were small, old and worn, but clean. Shower is tiny, you can hardly turn in there. Absolute pros are location at Frejus Plage, sandy beach is just across the street and all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. View from the balcony is stunning. During summertime there is a big market everyday 6pm - 1:30am, also just across the street. You can have breakfast at 9,50€/person at hotel's cafeteria. We hired a car. Hotel doesn't have parking space but parking was convenient at nearby parking halls (Kennedy or Bonaparte). Very spacious and clean new parking halls. We would recommend this hotel for everyone who appreciates good location near beach and all services.

Parking the car was not pleasurable as there are no parking sites close by and there is no certainty of when or where you'll find a spot. Breakfast was not included in the price (they asked us to add something like €8pp). They told us that someone would always be at the reception desk and even though we stayed here only one night we got back and forth a couple of times and did not find anyone at the desk while walking by. Noise early in the morning because of beach cleaners. Location was excellent, though. And we got a room with sea view that was unexpected but delightful at the same time. Beds were comfortable.

I was heading to St. Raphaël when saw this lovely hotel. Since I was staying for only one night, I didn't bother not having the room facing the beach - in fact the other one facing the opposite side looked better, so I chose it. Lovely, cosy clean room with a nice lady at the reception who recommended a place for dinner and always had a smile on her face. I have no idea of the average price of hotels in that area, so I cannot express an accurate opinion about its value. But for one night, it's definitely worth.

The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was outstanding. Could not ask for more. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly hotel that treats it's guests like long-time friends. Will definitely be going back!
