La Maison Tranquille is located directly on the road through Tarn Canyon. The parking is in front of the house along the road. We had a room on the first floor facing the main road, but out of season there was little traffic. The medium size room was simply decorated and clean with private bathroom equipped with massage shower. The...

My wife and I spent 8 nights at La Maison Tranquille and because of its location and its hosts, this was one of our best vacations. First, Gorges du Tarn area. Ancient fortresses, deep canyons, great cycling, hiking and canoeing. Les Vignes is also not too far from Roquefort: bleu cheese nirvana. Explore the cheese caves and taste many forms...

My wife and I recently returned from an 8 day trip to southern France. After making a side trip to see the Millau viaduct we spent our 2nd night at La Maison Tranquille. I can't the tell you how many times while fighting the traffic of Nice that I wished I were back in the peace, quiet and beauty of...

From the start I was sure this would be a great couple of hosts and their "maison" made me feel right at home. Meal was a delicacy with a big pinch of comfort. Easy to appreciate the hard work Lynn and Jesse put into making their guests feel good. Highly recommend.

2 Nights with Jess and Lynn were a very enjoyable experience on our way down to the Midi Canal. Both rooms were extremely acceptable and Jess's home cooking was most enjoyable and extremely reasonably priced along with the local wines. Sitting eating out on the back terrace has got to be one of the best views possible. The guys were...

After stopping here for lunch last year, I was determined to visit again and this time to stay overnight. Our room was at the rear of the house and overlooked the Tarn and the hillside beyond. The large room had a king size bed and a very well appointed bathroom, very peaceful and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared...

We arrived early during our walking tour and Jess was more than happy to pick us up from Saint-Rome-de-Dolan before scheduled. A welcoming drink very much appreciated with good conversation and laughs. The room was great and so clean. Loved the shutters and the amazing shower/bathroom. Drinks and dinner out on the balcony with an amazing view couldn't get any...

Three of us were hiking in the Gorges du Tarn and spent a memorable night in La Maison Tranquille. It was a highlight of our trip in this beautiful part of France. Jess and Linda were wonderfully entertaining hosts and provided us with a delicious meal in the French style. The rooms are excellent - the all singing and dancing...

Staying at La Maison Tranquille was a highlight of our trip to France. My husband and I accompanied my 85-year-old parents on their first visit to France and stayed two nights at La Maison Tranquille. Linda and Jess went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well fed---even served an extra special lamb for my parents--retired sheep...
