We visited L'ilot Bambou as we were doing some travelling around France and using the B&B as a base. The town of Avignon itself is within minutes walk over the bridge and there are many restaurants and shops contained within the towns walls. The rooms themselves are very clean and quite small but had everything you could want for your...

Worth staying at L'ilot Bambou for the superb breakfast of home made yogourt, cakes, crepes, and jams, and Tatiana and Jean-Philippe are delightful attentive hosts. The B&B is peaceful, situated on an island (Ile Piot) in the Rhone, just ten minutes walk to the centre of Avignon. Our room was warm and the bed comfortable, for two large people it was on...

We stayed here for 2 nights with another couple in this delightful property . It is about 10 minutes walk over the bridge to the main city so is very conveniently placed to explore Avignon. The rooms are in Balinese style with the bonus of a kitchenette if you wished to cook and a coffee machine and kettle and fridge...

Location: just across the bridge from the old city and easy to access from the highways without dealing with the city traffic. Good free parking. We used tis as a base to do day trips in our rental car and walked across the bridge to the city for dinner. Room: Large, great decoration and very comfortable and quiet. There was...

Tatianna and Jean Phillipe were wonderful hosts, she made delicious cakes and homemade desserts. The place is very unique with a small swimming pool, and a huge garden. It is across the river from the papal palace about a 15 minute walk from the city core . It is decorated in a Bali theme, with small kitchen corners if you...

We stayed in the Bali room and it was excellent. L'ilot Bambou is such a beautiful, tranquil place with everything you could possibly need. The breakfasts are amazing - always with something a little different every morning. Jean-Phillipe and Tatiana are so helpful and kind and we promise to come back once we have practiced our French!! Could not recommend...

Exciting themed rooms, marvelous grounds, great location, and best of all; Jean-Phillipe & Tatiana; warm, friendly & accomodating. And, Oh those breakfasts! I would choose to stay there no matter where in Provence I wished to explore.

We stayed for one night with Jean-Phillipe and Tatiana and it was wonderful! They made us feel at home, gave us great tips on things to do in Avignon, and the room and breakfast were exceptional. Their location is great as well. Highly recommended!

We stayed a week at L'ilot Bambou and were made most welcome by our excellent hosts, Jean-Philippe and Tatania, who gave us lots of helpful advice about what to visit, how to get about and where to eat. Our room, Azur, was spacious and comfortable and decorated with a seaside theme - lots of nice touches! There were en suite...
