The B&B is in a beautiful building from16th century and has a big garden. The owners were very friendly, offering us to choose between two different rooms, helping with dinner arrangements and even giving us a torch to walk at night to the restaurant they booked for us. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. In the sitting room there...

This was a great first place to stay on our car journey back to Britain, a warm welcome by the owners, room was traditional and comfortable all we needed, we had an evening meal close by which was very good. We would love to visit again one day on a day trip to Avignon again. Thank you and good luck with...

My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of October for two nights. It was a very lovely property. The average rating that we are giving it is due to a feature of the room we stayed in that was a bit disconcerting. We stayed in the Matisse room and although it was nice and comfortable enough, the toilet...

Dear Agnes, thanks for taking time to write your advise. We're very disappointed to read your comment about the Matisse room sanitary facilities. As your husband, our guests don't mind the noise of the flush system that is adapted to the constraints we have to preserve the charm and the aestheticism of our 16th century house. But we can understand...

This property is Alexandre Rhodes's place in 16th century. Very beautiful. We love the decoration in the dining area and the share living room. It's our 2nd time to visit this place. We visited this place in 2012 and 2015. The owner was changed. Overall, the service is great. The host suggested us many great places to visit. It's very...

We are just back from spending a couple of night at the Domaine. It was just perfect. The room was spacious and well appointed. Loved the whole house and the way the owner have created a home from home ambiance. The garden is lovely and we appreciated our bottle of champagne in the shade. It is about 10 minutes from...

My partner and I have just come back from a very comfortable and memorable week staying in this wonderful accommodation. The main house is steeped in history and there's a real sense of staying somewhere special as you enter. We had the Delacroix room which is furnished in a very tasteful and classic way and still remains comfortable and relaxing....

We really enjoyed our stay in this 16th Century house just outside of Avignon. The pool was a nice feature after a long day of travel. We enjoyed having a communal refrigerator (each room assigned a shelf) and honor bar with beer, wine and soft drinks. Cyrille was great at giving suggestions for day trips, restaurants and making reservations. There...

We have travelled from the coast of southern France and rounding up our trip in Avignon. We have gone from expensive boutique hotel and mediocre places to this extraordinary B&B in Avignon. The host and hostess are so friendly and passionate about what they do. We walked into the main building in awe by its history and elegance. We had...

What a lovely place to stay while in Avignon!! Situated only minutes outside the city, it could be an hour for there is no noise or traffic. The rooms are quaint, the attention provided quite excellent, and the whole experience just the thing needed to have that wonderful French experience. Under relatively new management, the proprietors are gracious hosts and...

Our experience at domaine du rhodes was very pleasant. The house is more beautiful than the pictures and the garden and setting is very relaxing and peaceful. The hosts were very attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful. A little enrichment to the breakfast is the only small improvement I would suggest. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Thank you very much for your message. We appreciated your presence in our B&B and look forward to welcoming you again. What a perfect opportunity to better appreciate our breakfast which provides local products (fruit juice, large variety of jams, lavender honey, "fougasse" speciality, cheeses), our home made products or from our garden (yoghurts, strawberries, tomatoes according to the season,...
