We stayed at La Vagabonde for 2 very enjoyable nights and could have easily stayed for a week Plenty of room in the flat with terrific facilities - easy walking distance to anywhere and right next to the Rhone. Restaurants are within 100 meters and Marie is the perfect host Car parking is a bit tight but free car parking... More

We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The building is full of character and old charm. Marie- Annick is a wonderful host too, lots of lovely personal touches to the room and very clean. It was very hot when we stayed and there is no AC and no fan, that's the only downside. The breakfast was excellent too... More

We stayed in this B&B for just one night but we will never forget it. The house is so charming. One feels like going back in time . The house is lovingly decorated with antique furniture and details. The room is so comfortable. The bathroom is huge with antique decor. The breakfast was great and was served in family dining... More

Who would want to stay in a hotel when you can stay here?! I totally agree with CrowNSW's description. Anyone who knows and appreciates France, knows that you cannot trust a facade. This tastefully decorated and clean chambre d'hôte and its friendly hosts are a delight. We stayed 6 days, unfortunatey not long enough, and would love to stay there... More

If you want to be able to walk all around Arles to visit the sites, have good restaurants nearby and have a quiet comfortable room then this is the place for you. Just note you have to pay by cash, no cards accepted which caught us out. You actually get two rooms which are large and well furnished. However our... More

La Vagabonde is simply wonderful. It personifies the essence of France; ceilings which disappear into space, exquisite old furniture, crockery and glassware, an old stone staircase, the view through peeling shutters down a narrow, quiet alleyway, a fantastic host and simple French food, cooked to perfection, with cheese to follow to satisfy even the most demanding addict. It is so... More

The ‘Mistrale’ is not a myth and was cold and fierce the day we arrived in Arles in late October. It was lovely to have such a warm and friendly welcome into the home of Marie-Annick and her family. La Vagabonde is a large, amazing 18th century merchant’s house in the old town of Arles, and the perfect base to... More

Marie annick the owner and her husband are so very warm and welcoming, offering advice on where to go and what to do. The room is spacious and comfortable, the breakfast nice. Great central location with all the main sights and restaurants within easy walking from here. We parked our car rental in the main city car park rather than... More

Marie is straight out of a romantic French novel and so is the accomodation. Beautiful old, refurbished, large rooms right in the centre of it all. Was totally family friendly and she was very sweet even when we broke the soap dish!! No where to cook so ask for the table d'hote (dinner) which was amazing and perfect combo of... More
