Hotel was a great location. The parking was a great price and it worked perfect. We were 1 block from the plaza with all the cafes. We were 3 blocks from the arena. It was great. The hotel room as average, but perfect. It was a perfect size for 2 people. The courtyard and pool area was beautiful. The front...

Beautiful old building in the heart of Arles, near the Place du Forum. Most of the sights are in easy walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. Our room was comfortable and well appointed in classic provençal style. Our room was larger than typical for the area and price. The toilet had it's own little room...

Just a quick note that, unlike other reviewers, we found the staff at the d'Arlatan to be very helpful and cordial, especially Helen. Helen and Madame had great suggestions for places to eat, sightsee, and shop.

Due to a bad case of the flu, we never made it to the hotel. When we contacted them 12 days prior to our stay to cancel, their staff was extremely rude and threatened to keep the entire deposit (almost $500), even though their own policy states that we owe them for only half the reserved stay or one night....

The hotel d'Arlatan is perfectly situated for visiting Arles. Signs throughout the city direct you to the hotel, which would be difficult to find otherwise. The room was quite small, but the hotel itself is lovely. Parking in the tiny garage is a challenge, but there is usually a staff member to help. Generally good value for the money. The...

Hotel d'Arlatan was a perfect place for us to end our 3 week honeymoon trip to France. Staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was really beautiful with lots of charm and character. About as far from a corporate chain hotel as you could get: distinctive, charming, lovely, and quiet. Check out the "ruins" under the lobby and make...

Extremely personable hotel owners. The woman at the front desk and the man who helped with our bags and parked our car were absolutely wonderful. Our room was huge and looked out over a very cool little street. We were excited to find out that we were only a few steps away from the little cafe that Van Gogh painted....

We were a little apprehensive about the D'Arlatan after reading some of the negative reviews, but we found it delightful. The building is a hundreds of years old stone mansion giving it a "historic" feel. The rooms had interesting archetectural features. The amenities themselves were average, but the atmosphere was worth it for us. We found the desk staff to...

We just returned from Provence and a four night stay at the Hotel d'Arlatan based on reviews from tripadvisor. We were in Rooms 51 and 52 in the annex overlooking the courtyard and pool. We were extremely pleased with the Hotel and Arles in general which we used for a home base while in Provence. Our rooms were very clean,...

What a lovely hotel this is and so full of character. We stayed here for 7 nights during the early part of June. We had room 27 which was on the 2nd floor overlooking terracotta roofs and looking down on the courtyard with the swimming pool. Apparently some of the rooms at the front of the hotel had noise at...
