The Aroeira Lisbon Sea and Golf Resort has all the features of a 5 star hotel (although officially 4 stars) situated in an upscale gated neighborhood . Beautiful contemporary rooms with massive floor to ceiling windows , king size boxspring , terrace with comfortable lounge chairs and en suite bathroom with jet stream shower. Covid safe breakfast buffet is included in the roomrate and truly delicious : freshly squeezed juices , danish and pastries , waffles , crêpes , eggs any style , smoked salmon , cured hams , you name it , they have it . When the wonderful and relaxing huge pool with ample sunbeds is not your thing , the hotel shuttle will transport you to the nearby private beach ( where sunbeds and umbrellas are set up for hotelguests ) with on site bar and restaurant . Dinner at their Aroeira beach restaurant was magical . Golden sunset , chilled wine , crab bisque , garlic prawns , shrimp salads , we felt like being in the Carribean . In fact, the food here was far superior to the one served at the restaurant in the hotel . So for those people , like us , who love Lisbon ( 20 minutes Uber ride ), but want the best of both worlds , this resort is really highly recommended and great value .…

The hotel offers a transfer service to their beach club. You need to book the pickup time and the return trip beforehand. We booked the pickup at 11 and the return trip at 13:15. Not only did the driver come late both times but we had to wait 35 min under the sun for the driver to arrive at the beach club for the return trip. We called the hotel to ask whether the driver was on its way and they blatantly lied to our face saying it had been on time but had picked up 4 people and left. We had arrived to the pickup location on time and he was nowhere to be found. So after calling the hotel our guess was that they had forgotten they had our return trip booking and just sent the driver back for us. We went to talk to the manager and she told us the same lie again, then she excused herself saying that they only had 1 driver and they couldn't commit to be exact on pickup times. We headed to our room to get a shower and the room wasn't ready. We'll, not even close to ready, it was completely non-arranged after 3h of our leaving, despite the fact that we had left the sign requesting the room to be arranged. Often when you want a hotel for a beach holiday, you have to come to terms with the fact that the hotel won’t be that great a quality. This hotel is different. It’s stylish, professionally run with great rooms and great service. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms well appointed with decent sized balconies, the perfect place to sit and have a last drink of the day. The breakfast was perfectly cooked with a massive selection of goodies and drinks. There is a wonderful pool, but when there is a free shuttle that takes a few minutes to get you to an amazing beach with clear blue sea, one wonders why anyone would use it. Down on the beach a sister venue offers free sun beds and shades to hotel guests plus a 10% discount on food and drinks. A real find this hotel. Very happy

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was very good. The rooms are modern and well designed. The swimming pool is very nice. The breakfast is good with a nice selection. The bar is also very good. The prices are reasonable for the quality, A good option outside Lisbon.

I spent a few days at the Aroeira Lisbon hotel and by the end of my stay, I wanted to move there! It's a perfect place to spend time relaxing in the nature (it's set in the beautiful pine forest, with a golf course next door and the beach just over 2km away) - you are only 40 mins from Lisbon but feels a million miles away. I tried all of the services (yoga; pool; golf; restaurants) and they were all excellent. Above all, the staff, without exception, were wonderful (Solange; Andreia; Ana; Marian but there were many others whose names I don't remember unfortunately) - always helpful and friendly, giving the place a warm and positive ambience despite the challenging year we are in. Thanks to everyone at the Aroeira Lisbon hotel who made my stay such a pleasure.
