I'd like to compliment the staff. They are super friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant, clean and charming. It's clear you are not in a 4 star hotel room, but we could not have asked for more. The location is also excellent. We did not have the breakfast, so we cannot comment on it. We chose to go to the farmers market and have pastries and coffee at Cafe Weibel, which we also recommend.

Great location (walking distance to the centre and parking), charming owners, great atmosphere! We loved the silver service breakfast! We stayed in the ground floor room with access to the inner courtyard, which was full of plants. We would love to stay again!

This is a charming old-style hotel filled with antiques right in the historic Mazarin district of Aix-en-Provence. This district is a nice quiet part of Aix. My room was charming (room 21) and very comfortable, with good A/C. It fits right into the gracious and civilized air of Aix itself, which is a gorgeous town. You are just 5 minutes from rue d'Italie which has lots of nice shops for calissons and nice little boulangeries.

I appreciate that this hotel is only 2 star. It’s relatively cheap for a fantastic location in Aix. If cost and location are the main drivers for your choice - then I’m sure that this hotel will please you. For me, I wasn’t overly happy with the hotel. Previous reviews suggest that the decor is stylish - but I think that it could really do with revamping/replacing in parts. There was a really strong smell of rose water around the hotel and in our room, which I appreciate some guests may find pleasing but, again, it’s not for me. It could be that it depends which room that you stay in. Maybe some rooms are revamped and others are not? We stayed in room 21; the toilet seat was broken and the dust cover in the bed was really old and faded/browning. Having said all of this - it is cheap compared to other hotels in the town, so I suppose it seems unfair to expect more...it just wasn’t to my taste - but I’m sure it is to other’s.

Stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. Perfect location to explore Aix. Our room was off a small courtyard & was tastefully decorated in an older style of Provence. The en suite was fine and we had a good breakfast. Would suggest to sort out where you will park before you arrive as the streets are a tad narrow. We found an underground public car park less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel.
