This nice little hotel immediately caught our attention and didn't disappoint. The only problem was to get there by car at midnight. It's simply close to impossible, a fact that google maps didn't reveal immediately ;-) Recommend to park the car in one of the nearby garages and walk the few meters dragging with the luggage - it's really not...

Great location, friendly staff, minor issue with the bathroom shower letting water get all over the floor but otherwise a great hotel. The superior double room was very spacious especially for a European hotel. Definitely would stay there again.

A great location, breathtaking entry. A few details missing...no shower curtain, no robe hook, no warm beverages in room. Walls not clean and bed very worn out- springs poking us in the night. Wifi not at all user friendly. They cleaned our room, took soap we could have still used, but then left the garbage in the room.

The hotel is centrally located. The interior was quite charming and had a touch of individuality both in the architectural design of a former convent and the numerous paintings and sculptures on display. The hotel does not have a kitchen as such and therefore the breakfasts offered were cereals, pastries, breads, whole fruits, yoghurts and the like. A range of...

A 15th century convent with chapel beautifully renovated in the very heart of Aix. The charm of old stones and stain glass combined with the comfort of modernity. I love that contrast. Great helpful service.

This boutique hotel is just off the West end of the Cours Mirabeau, close to the main shopping and dining areas of Aix. We were received by a very friendly receptionist who spoke excellent English. The lobby is part of an old church or convent with a high ceiling and vaults and arches showing here and there - very charming!...

As stated by another reviewer this was once a convent and is very atmospheric with stone walls and gothic arched ceilings in the lobby. The rooms upstairs are like any other hotel however. The location is great as it is near to Cours Mirabeau and lots of great shops and stores. We even walked to Cezanne's Studio and on the...

We spent a night in this hotel located near the Cour Mirabeau (the heart of Aix). It was OK but our room on the second floor was fairly basic ( no curtain in the shower ) . The room was relatively quiet during the night ( there are lots of young people in the streets at night ). breakfast was...

Ambiance abounds at this hotel. A converted convent with stone walls in the lobby and spiral staircase. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location and very close to restaurants and shopping. Great find!

Hotel is within the Ville Centre, in and antique, nice building, and up to the reception everything looked good. Nice stone stairs to the first floor, carpentered stairs to the second floor already looking a bit worn down. Small room, awful mattress! And it can get noisy at night time. If you are going by car, parking is about 4...
