Great location & lovely building 5 mins walk from Cours Mirabeau, 10/15 mins walk from train & bus stations. Friendly, helpful staff. Large, clean, quiet comfortable room with great interior design. Delicious breakfast served on secluded sunny terrace. Bars and restaurants closeby.
We enjoyed our four nights at this very unique and individual boutique hotel. This is very much a home form home with personal attention at the centre of their service. Clarisse is an amazing lady who from the time I contacted remained in touch to give me information about the area and also booked the restaurants I found with the additional suggestions. Our room was stylish and the artwork interesting, in a good way. The presentation was exceptional and eclectic which we loved. Very individual. Breakfast was served from 7.30-10am and in a beautiful sunny room overlooking the garden. The breakfast was varied and served at your table. Relaxed and unhurried. We didn’t feel like guests but as friends who had visited for a few days. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and if you have the chance to stay here you will not be disappointed. One point to mote it does not have a lift so if you are staying on the higher floors make sure you come with a light bag.…
What a great boutique hotel. The decorating is quirky, but in a fun way. You can easily walk to everything in the Village. The staff is friendly, helpful and accomodating. Lovely stay and we will return.
Nothing is to much trouble for the co-managers Clarisse and Camille who run this delightful hotel in central Aix. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and tastefully furnished with views of the garden or street. Breakfast is prepared to suit your individual needs with fresh produce from the local market and boulangerie. If you have any questions on places to eat or visit the two C's are always available to advise and help. Would recommend the hotel to any discerning couple or single traveler visiting Aix. I would have scored a 5 but the safe was missing from our room during the whole stay so we had nowhere to store valuables safely.
Such a lovely boutique hotel nestled right in the heart of Aix. The hotel itself is beautiful - classic French architecture, art on the walls, a cute backyard for breakfast. Plus the interior design of the rooms is very tasteful. And the service is phenomenal - the concierge not only got us breakfast every morning, but ordered us taxis and even recommended delicious restaurants. It’s also in a phenomenal location close to any sight you will want to see.
Wow! What a discovery! Firstly the location; right in the heart of Aix en Provence- the perfect starting block for exploring olive groves, wineries and beautiful picturesque locations of Provence. The hotel: SPECTACULAR! Homely, yet tastefully decorated. We were greeted with delicious nougat, calisson and the most delightful body wash and shampoo to exist. The service was wonderful, warm and simple. We really enjoyed our stay and thank the staff for al their kindness. Highly recommend!!
This is a beautiful boutique hotel that has more of an Air BnB feel. It is centrally located within Aix en Provence, and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and cafes. The quality of the bed linen, towels etc...were exceptional. The AC is quiet and keeps your room quite cool. Their breakfast's are fabulous...and it was wonderful to eat outside in their garden area. The hotel staff go out of their way to be of assistance...and are quite friendly. It is located in a quiet area of town. It can be tricky to find, and requires coordination before hand with the staff. There is no elevator, so be mindful of which floor you want to be on. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful boutique hotel with a staff full of attention making for a delightful experience in the center of Aix en Provence. The view from the room was typical of Aix and the night was really quiet. Superb breakfast (and it is a French saying that ;))
There is no sign or landmark to identify this place. We were traveling by TGV train so got a taxi to take us to hotel, The driver dropped us off in the middle of the street. We thought he had made a mistake and asked where the hotel was. He pointed to a red painted door and drove off. The door was locked and we saw a lock pad with a number near the door so we tried it several times but the door wouldn't open. My partner had to pound the door before someone came to open it. We learned that the number above the lock pad is the hotel's phone number that you are supposed to somehow know to CALL THEM UPON YOUR ARRIVAL so someone can come over and open the door for you. You then get two sets of easy codes, one for the front door and one for your room. Our room on the second floor was nice and comfortable. There is no elevator. The breakfast room is tiny with tiny tables and the breakfast served is good but was the same every day. There are cafes several feet away and a small bakery around the corner where the hotel gets their baked goods.. The staff were nice but we are used to staying at 4 and 5 star hotels and this just wasn't for us.…
6 room Small hotel but delightful. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Feel like you're in total luxury. Great location. No elevator so beware if you're on the 3rd floor.... Bags will get heavy! We also had a glass of wine with the owner when we arrived.... Very nice touch
