Everything was just OK with few negative things . What disturbed me was that there was no enough of disinfection products provided - nothing outside elevators , hallways , restaurant . Staff was kind but didn’t wear face-masks , only lady who served breakfast . Breakfast option was not good - only poor continental options - no eggs , sausages , pate ... coffee was very good and lady who served breakfast was super kind 😇
We drove from Arles to Aix and were planning to spend the late afternoon at Camp des Milles (A former internment and deportation center, well worth a visit), so we wanted a place close by, but also convenient to Aix. This hotel is modern and pleasant, with an outdoor pool, plenty of parking, and quiet surroundings. Pierre, at the front desk, was SUPER helpful with advice on where to eat, how to get to/from town via bus, sightseeing, etc. He even helped us book our next Best Western stay (in La Ciotat) by calling the property and asking them a bunch of questions for us. Room: spacious, immaculate, good Wi-Fi, large flat screen TV, mini fridge with complementary bottled water, lots of storage space, noise reducing windows (that open), room darkening drapes, full-length mirror, good reading lights. Bath: roomy, towel heating rack, plush towels, shaving mirror, good blow dryer, eco-friendly wall-mounted shower gel/shampoo/moisturizer. The included breakfast was great: eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, cereals, breads, pastries, etc. Within 10 minutes' walking distance is a great little casual restaurant called L'entrée Suite. Very good value for money; we would absolutely stay here again.…
It was good to have a Warm and friendly welcome at reception when we checked in. Most of the staff speak Good English. Staff are also very friendly and would bend over backwards to help us. Eg. The restaurant is not open on weekend dinner, but being a fairly large group, they arranged a limited menu for dinner for us. Room As we were a family of 3, the hotel recommended that we reserve a balcony suite with 1 queen bed and a sofa bed in the living room. There are only 2 of these types of room, both on the top floor. The two rooms in the suite should have been bigger but the balcony eats up a bunch of space. The balcony is also set back somewhat in reference to the hotel facade, thus making the suite small and tight. The sofa bed eats up 7/8th of the living room. Maneuvering around this room is quite cumbersome, especially if trying to get to the balcony. A study table and chair is built into the room and attached to the table is a luggage rack. There’s a cupboard in the room with hangers that are latched onto the railings. A small fridge at the bottom with a couple of bottles of “on-the-house” water. An electronic safe can also be found here. There is no room for a kettle and tea/coffee facilities, thus this was not provided. Somewhat lacking for a suite. Personally, I thought that the standard room was a better size and configuration, and would have fit 3 persons. A toilet is housed in its own separate room at the main entryway shared by the bedroom and living room. The bedroom has a TV mounted on the wall. There is no hanging area or cupboard in the bedroom. We draped out clothes on the TV. The bed is comfortable and afforded a good night’s rest. An open bathroom is two steps from the bed. A sink with limited space for your bathroom stuff, and a bathtub shower, plus heated railings to dry towels and washed clothes can be found here. The hotel was generous with their towels. The towels were big and good quality. Carpet is clean and the room is generally in good condition. WiFi can be received in the room. Gym The gym only opens from 10am - 10pm. Gym rats wanting to get a work out in before breakfast will have to do so outside. Food Breakfast is a simple affair. There are three cooked items - bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs. You can make your own soft boilt or hard boilt eggs. There is a variety of breads, cereal, yoghurt, and you can freshly squeeze your own orange juice. Dinner is pretty good. There’s appetizers like cold cuts and foie gras terrine, salads, and meats such as beef, pork, chicken and lamb. There’s a limited wine menu from the region, as well as beers on tap. Parking Plenty of parking on grounds. The Gates closed overnight and the Parking lot is well lit. Close by is the village of La Duranne, which has a pharmacy, food outlets and a supermarket. The hotel is not far from Aix-on-Provence and Marseille. It’s also very close to the TGV station. We had a pretty comfortable stay and pretty good memories of having spent some time here.…
Situated out of town but close to my office, this hotel is a great location... but for me, not necessarily for you! Hotel is perfectly adequate - rooms are fine, clean and fairly spacious. Although the bathroom was a bit squashed! Breakfast here is ok - nothing special but does the job. Would stay again but mainly just because it is so convenient for me.
This hotel is not in the city but is convenient for the commercial area just south-west of the city. It is a short drive from exit 5 of the D9 and about 20 minutes drive from Marseille Airport. The hotel was well-maintained with comfortable, immaculately clean and well-equipped rooms, a bar and large restaurant (which is closed on Fridays and Saturdays). The front desk and restaurant staff were helpful, efficient and spoke good English. There was plenty of free parking. The air-conditioned bedrooms were on three floors, served by lifts. A good continental breakfast was served daily. I would be very happy to return to this hotel as it was convenient, and offered good facilities and excellent value for money.
