The hotel is well located in a lovely old building with great architectural interest. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a separate toilet. The bathroom located next to the window and only separated by a curtain was unusual, but ok for us. Easy parking at the door to check-in and longer parking available a short walk away. Breakfast...

We arrived on the train and the hotel is an easy walk in 15 mins and then you are positioned conveniently to explore the town. The hotel is on a street that is not part of a main thoroughfare so is lovely and quiet. Had checked in online in advance so arrival was very straightforward and a really warm and...

We loved our room, a standard room on the ground floor, with a terrace outside, and easy access from the reception. Light, comfortable, clean, and with ac - essential on our stay, when Poitiers hit 38 degrees celcius! Excellent service from the reception, with maps, and advice about sights.

Well, it is a hotel in the center of Poitiers integrated in a historical building. Some of the rooms might have a bit of flair - ours didn't. We did not try the restaurant, so we cannot say anything. The service and our room was barely average. A bit disappointing when you want to explore the city, it might be...

I usually stay at this hotel one week a month. It is very convenient to the bus service and not far from the train station. Located a 5 minute walk from the center of Poitiers is is close enough but not too close. Wonderful service and the staff are excellent. No issues with the hotel and I definitely recommend.

Unexpectedly modern, given the building's religious history as a church and convent, the rooms at the Mercure Poitiers Centre are light, airy and well-designed,...and blessedly serene. Breakfast, though E 14.00, is worth it: A large selection of bread and baked items, cheeses, fruits and juices, eggs and sausages makes it a good value as you start the day in a...

We stayed in a privilege room on the fifth floor, which was a rather strange configuration, but, very large and comfortable. It came with a free minibar and nespresso, so, I was happy! The shower was very nice, had good air conditioning, bed was comfortable..really can't complain! The breakfast was ample...nothing special, but, the food was fine.

We stayed in a suite on the 4th floor at 280/night, which according to us is not worth the price. the room with a split level was nice to see, but not practical. The architecture of the church has no added value to this room ; the left space is fragmented and unpleasant. The interior feels cold, douche is basic,...

This was a good value hotel with friendly service -- though it would really be nice if they had valet or bell service. The location was very convenient to walk around the old city center, but parking at the Theatre & Auditorium was inconvenient. I can't imagine what you would do if you tried to park on the night of...
