The location was fantastic, friendly staff and great sized family room. The reason for only 3 stars was it could do with a some updating, the room was not cheap and I would expect more for the price paid, but car parking was included. No air con and a very hot night so did not sleep to well, but bed... More

Could hardly be nearer the centre of Rouen am sure you could not get a hotel in a city at the price charged. thought it would be noisy but the double windows and shutters certainly kept out traffic noise. Air conditioning or a fan would have been appreciated. the breakfast was the best we have had in France the choice... More

The Hotel Bonaparte is in a great location; walking distance from a large public car park (Parking Hôtel de Ville), 10 minutes away from the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Rouen and 15 minutes from the bars and restaurants of the Place du Vieux-Marche. I stayed at the Hotel along with my wife and 12 year old child in a comfortable, clean... More

My wife, son (16 yo) and I stayed in one room. It was listed to accommodate 3 adults and it did so nicely -- one queen and a single. We stayed in mid July. The front of the hotel is nothing special, but the lobby area is very nicely appointed and cozy. Nice dining room, too. Our room faced the... More

Location is superb! Very centrally located. We came by car and parked it overnight at the Q-park Palais-de-justice 300m away. The lobby of the hotel is as it shows on the photos, old fashioned but stylish if you like. The lady of the hotel is really nice and provides an extra character and atmosphere to the hotel. Breakfast is one... More

A small, quiet and comfortable hotel. Very conveniently situated for old town, museum etc. Breakfast adequate; the usual buffet fare. Car parking a bit of an issue, as it would be for any of the other hotels in this location. I ended up using the secure parking about 5 minutes walk away. My first stop in Rouen. Well worth a... We were attracted to this Hotel by its location in that it is within walking distance of the historical centre of Rouen. We stayed one night and that night was rather warm. Unfortunately there is no air con and not even a fan. It made for difficult sleeping. The room was a reasonable size and had all the necessities except... More

This is our second visit and we love it's convenience and quirkiness. It's location is spot on for visiting the Musee des Beaux-Arts de Rouen and in walking distance of the old town. Follow their instructions very carefully for getting in and out the car park - it is tricky.

This is an ideal hotel to explore the city, situated right in the middle. Good room with thought gone into what you may need, razor, toothbrush etc, ideal for tourers like us. Secure parking also. Lovely lady owner, very friendly and made us feel welcome after a long day. Comfy beds and as much breakfast as you can eat. Great... More

A quaint hotel. Our room was clean but somewhat worn and dated. The desk person was very helpful and parked our car for us as the entrance is quite steep. It was centrally located and we thought it provided excellent value for the money.
