Rouen was very full when we visited and this hotel was one of the few with rooms left. It is a cheap and cheerful bed for the night, but nothing more. The rooms were clean and the traditional breakfast good. Scruffy all round, but friendly and the wifi worked. No lift and very tight staircase. Street parking for just overnight....

We should have known when we walked up the staircase with the threadbare carpet, some may call.this shabby chic, I call it wrecked! The room was dark, the floor sticky, the bathroom was dirty, the sheets were clean, we were only there one night and that was more than enough! Didn't have breakfast was just be glad to be out...

The only reason I'm giving it two stars and not one is that I didn't see any actual bugs or rats. But from start to finish it was an unpleasant experience. The check in process included being informed that their credit card reader was broken, so we had to immediately scrounge together all our cash to pay. Then we walked...

Set in a quiet backstreet but close to most of the main points of interest in the town; that's about the only positive thing to say about this place ! I suppose if you are not used to cheap French hotels it might have a morbid fascination but it really was awful. Three floors of bedrooms and no lift thought...

Extremely well situated, charming staff an hotel that cannot have changed since the seventies: thank goodness. This is a French provincial hotel as it should be. One imagines this is how the rooms were at Fawlty Towers. Remember please, modern hoteliers, there are some guests who like things to have their own character, to have a charm which tells of...

You get what you pay for here, while the location is great and the front desk was super helpful, the rooms were very dated and not overly clean. There was no parking but if you drive around the block there is free parking on the street overnight.

This hotel is ideally located, literally a short stroll into the main part of the city and not too far from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, typically European. The rooms need an upgrade; whilst I understand that the hotel is old and many people find this charming or quaint, I have to...

This is very comfy and affordable lodging very close to the Rive Droite train station, the Tour Jean D'Arc, and the Beaux Arts, Tournelles, and Porcelain Museums. The hospitality is very warm and accommodating and the rooms with WC on the hall are fine and a bargain. It is not a far walk to Rue Jean D'Arc and south to...

The hotel was perfectly placed for the station, when you have to drag your bags 300 metres is good. Also close enough to walk to the old town sites and restaurants. Rouen is an unknown gem. The owners and staff lovely and very helpful, nothing was too hard for them to assist us.

This is just my kind of hotel. I arrived in the afternoon when there was no one on reception but a charming girl let me in and as I knew already my room number she gave me the key. Charming and trust-worthy. The room was just as I remembered those of many small french hotels of the last century -...
