It is a nice hotel, classic ibis budget hotel. There is shower and bathroom inside the room. The breakfast is nice with bread variety, cheese, yoghurt, fruits and cornflakes. It was not crowded at all. There is a large market near this hotel where you can shop. Regarding the transportation, it is easier with car. The place is close to...

But close. This is barebones at best. I've stayed in Ibis Budget hotels before and know what to expect but this is by far my most disappointing experience. The hotel is worn and as my six year old said "the bathroom is lim being on a train". But I've seen better on trains. The breakfast was also basic not simply...

Room was clean and tidy with just an unfortunate stench of cigarette smoke. Mattress was fine and I was exhausted so was looking forward to sleeping well. Well... the hotel has no sound insulation whatsoever so everyone walking and talking in the corridors can be heard and what is going on in the next room. If you're a light sleeper...

this was like going to a budget hotel in the 90's. It was dirty, stank of cigarettes, and was situated in an area that you would not go out at night unless you wish to experience the unsavoury side of LeHavre. The low cost of this hotel does not outweigh the poor quality of this hotel. Never again

I booked this purely as overnight accommodation for catching a ferry next day. I got there just after 9 pm as it took me about 30 mins to find it which meant the security gates were closed and I had to wait for someone with an access code as the motel wasn't manned overnight.. The hotel was fine and less...

Recently renamed "Ibis Budget". I've stayed at this hotel several times. It's the cheapest option in Le Havre if you want a bathroom ensuite, as far as I'm aware. The area is a bit strange, but I've never had any problems. It's relatively close to the train station and the university (20 min walk). The rooms are always clean. They...

“Facing the back, & top floor (etage 4) might be best. If you're dining you must try the "La Petite Brocant" restuarant on Rue Louis Brindeau - see separate review "awesome".”

“Stay in a different hotel, but if you absolutely must stay here (such as you have just been released from the local prison and everywhere else is full) choose ground floor to avoid sharing the lift with louts.”
