Stayed only one night but this hotel (more like a cozy motel) left us with a very positive impression. The car parking space is covered with gravel and the approach has a good ambience. The owner was very welcoming and full of sincere hospitality. The room was a bit squashy for 3 people but OK enough and the interior was atmospheric with a personal touch. Breakfast was simple French standard but good enough for us after heavy French dinner before the night. It's only about 5 minutes walk to the real centre point of the town, very accessible. I do reccomend this accomodation as this fits to the artistic image of Honfleur. Staying at accomodation like Novotel or Mercure make me boring.
When booking this hotel my priority was 1st for an off road car park. It has off road parking but only for 8 cars. It has 15 bed rooms so if you arrive late you park on the road?? It calls itself a hotel? No bar, No restaurant? The rooms are clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Tea and coffee making facility. However paper cups and no milk. At best a nice B&B The owners are polite and welcoming. Sorry but will not be staying again.
Stayed for three nights and there are no major complaints but we felt the hotel could be so much better with a few changes. Here we go - pro: excellent location on the outskirts of Honfleur, very quiet yet only five minutes walk from the town centre, friendly and helpful staff, on site parking, very good breakfast which can be taken indoors or out, private (ish) seating outside each room. The rooms are individually decorated, ours was light and airy but others are rather dark. Con: some rooms have a fridge, others don't, rooms are a bit on the small side, main issue is the bathroom - variable water pressure, shower too low and not adjustable, rather cramped, dated colour scheme and towels a bit threadbare. If money was invested in upgrading the bathrooms and ensuring all rooms were of the same quality this would be a great little gem of a hotel. If you want a decent, reasonably priced few days this hits the spot. …
Chose this hotel specifically because it had parking. Perfect for us a little downhill walk to town and uphill on the way home didn’t worry us we needed the exercise! Room was lovely clean and comfortable. Good powerful shower plenty of hot water. Great private outdoor space to relax in . We had room 10 nd would stay there again
We arrived on motorbike, the street leading up to it a little daunting, but well worth the (not so valid) scare. The welcome was superb and breakfast was really good, as good as in many a 4star property. Good local product and great croissants, as well as tasty bread and jams. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The window should be repaired so it can be tilted, as opening wide on ground floor didn't feel very secure.
