We certainly weren’t expecting a five star hotel, but we would expect to have a functioning room. The auto check in is very convenient and worked well, but there the problem started. We were assigned room 21. Judging by the number of vehicles in the car park, the hotel was nowhere near full, so I cannot understand why a room with a broken shower and a front door with a dodgy locking mechanism was made available to customers. With no human on site we were unable to request a room change.
A nice hotel in a nice location, but is not as good as other Premiere Class hotels. The bedding was old, frayed and had holes in it. See picture. Only one towel per person was supplied, so none for hands or shower matt. The shower head needed to be changed. There is no shower holder, so you must hold the nozzle while you shower. We asked to change room, but the receptionist said all their rooms were like that. The hotel needs a complete upgrade. It has free parking and is located beside several cafes and restaurants and is convenient for the town. Good value out of season, but too expensive for summer in it's cureent condition.
We'll, what you pay is what you get. We've payed for a cheap room, near the city and that was exactly what we get. I've had really low expectaions, considering some reviews on this page, but it really wasn't that bad. Room is indeed small but it was very clean. Free parking outside is a plus. There is also a McDonalds just across the street and some grocery stores nearby.
Really helpful staff, considering my French is worse than school boyish, they really helped out, they where happy/polite, they wanted to help. Breakfast was basic, but plenty of it and fresh. Room clean/tidy, instructions in French/English, cant fault it
Very poor hotel. Outdated unkempt rooms. Landings to rooms has torn plastic runner which is really slippery when it rains. Reception closes at 7 p.m. and that is the only access to the breakfast room which is the only place to sit and talk to friends unless they all sit in the very outdated, rooms. Shower aprox 80 cms diameter, sink brown and cracked, heater rusty. Could only walk between bed and toilet sideways.
