My wife and I enjoyed 3 days at La Claire,B and B. We travel to France often and can honestly say La Claire is an excellent stay. The room was large and impeccable and had everything one needs. The large bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. But I save the best til last. The host and hostess were... More

Went back after liking this hotel last year, It has been decorated since then, and the room was that much brighter. Great breakfast as usual, All in all, nothing to complain about with this hotel, and prices were the same as last year, which was a bonus 😃

We stayed here for one night (family of 4) for a stop over on the way to Calais and was recommended the town of HonFleur. This hotel is excellent value for money. My daughter described it as "vintage", a term I would agree with! It was a typical traditional understated french hotel, a perfect end to our holiday, as didn't... More

Located just a short 10 minute walk from the charming port of HonFleur, this Hotel is extremely convenient. Parking is no problem. I was 'upgraded' to a Studio apartment ( virtually no one else staying at this hotel in November) which is situated to the rear of the Brown building to the right if the original hotel. Access is by... More

We stayed one night in this dump. Don't be misled by the photos posted on hotels.com. In our experience, the room we were given did not remotely look like the photos. We were put in the dark brown building to the right of the charming hotel with the window baskets. Our room was dark and smelled moldly. The mattress was... More

We stayed for one night en route to catch the ferry from Le Havre. Even in August, we were able to park just outside the hotel which was very convenient. The rooms were basic and a little tired, but very clean. The plumbing worked and the beds were comfortable. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful - and the location was... More

Arrived at the hotel after a long drive, and we were greeted by Hendrik, who showed us our room. We then had a beer, and asked if we could have something like bread and cheese to eat. No problem, it was bought to us straight away. First impressions were good. The next day we had, what I can only say... More

We needed an overnight stop en route from Le Havre to Brittany, Read other reviews and decided to book. We were given a warm welcome by the owner and found the room very comfortable. We were given a good recommendation on where to eat. Only 10 minute walk to the port. Slept well.

Convenient for the beautiful harbour area and its restaurants and bars. Rooms are small, quite noisy from road, thin walls if a group comes back late and wants to continue the party! and in desperate need of some TLC. Nowhere to sit outside other than facing the road. Good breakfast. Foreign cars were deliberately scratched in the parking area outside... More
