Monet's Gardens were absolutely beautiful! We spent the day going from the flower garden to the Lily garden. We spent the day in town and had lunch at the cafe outside of the gardens and hit the gift store which had some incredible items for sale.

A beautiful lawn with water features and terrace. A striking spacious facility with tremendous staff. Nadia who manages is fantastic. Our room was terrific. At the top of the stairs(assist given with luggage), with view of the gate, very roomy with large bathroom. Quiet. The breakfast and dinner were quite nice. You can actually walk to the Monet home and... More

Came across le Jardin des Plumes when trying to find an overnight stop between the Loire Valley and Arras and I'm so glad I did. Our room was quirky, spacious and comfortable. We arrived mid-afternoon and were able to squeeze in a visit to Monet's house and gardens, which were a short walk up the road. Dinner was excellent and,... More

We stayed in 2 rooms with our 2 teenage children and absolutely fell in love with this magical place. Super nice staff that went out of their way to accommodate us. Easy walk to Monet's Gardens. Great to stay here and experience the area once all the day tourists leave. The hotel's garden was lovely too and we took full... More

We felt immediately at home in this quirkily decorated, very comfortable boutique hotel with a lovely bedroom on the first floor overlooking the garden. Nadia, our ever present host, graciously attended to our every need, and we felt really looked after by all her friendly staff. The breakfasts were copious and of the best quality. Our dinner in the restaurant... More

Difficult to review as this is a Michelin starred restaurant so one knows before hand what is expected price wise. Sadly although the situation is attractive and the restaurant glamorous. The food was overly fussy and a confusing mixture of flavours- less 'muse bouches' and proper food would have justified the eye watering 'l'addition'

Our experience with the restaurant was fantastic (best dinner of a week in Normandy), but the hotel was a much more mixed experience. We paid more for a luxury suite with balcony and that was a bad choice. The "Javanese" (rm 38) is upstairs in the main building and on 2 levels with the bed above. It was HOT when... More

I was excited about this place, a combination of birthday treat and Monets garden, quiet - certainly not, there is a busy road at the bottom of the garden. Our duplex suite, well what can I say, certainly not worth the money. An outlook straight onto the back door of the kitchens, with staff smoking, and looking in, yes someone... More

We had an air conditioned room which was on the second floor next to the 1912 home. Our first night we enjoyed the delicious and well presented food in the restaurant and the second night we had a picnic in the garden. Nadia was kind to cool our left over luncheon food, some cheeses and wine that be bought for... More

We spent a night in a superior room/suite at this hotel. The room was very attractive with good facilities but the air conditioning was a portable inadequate machine, not good on a hot night. On arrival our greeting was welcoming. The restaurant was beautiful , the food was fair but not as good as the presentation. The most enjoyable experience... More
