The hotel is nice - I was there for business so I did not have the opportunity to actually test all the amenities - staff is highly professional at front desk - polite and helpful staff at the bar too, complementary WiFi (still, it took me a while to understand that Orange was the network you have to be connected... I think it is designed for large events and corporate seminars and that is why it completely lacks charm. Lobby and bar areas look quite nice, but rooms are very basic. Breakfast was way below average with only one type of bread, fruit salad from canned fruits and badly overlooked scrambled eggs. The main disadvantage of this place is that... More

My wife, our two small children (3 and 6) and I stayed at the domaine de l'Amirauté during the week of the 21st to 27th of June (We arrived on Sunday the 20th). We had booked through sunjets.be, the formula was all inclusive. First of all - Be aware that "Deauville - Touques" means you are 10 minutes away by... More

l'Amiraute feels if it were designed back in the 1970’s as a futuristic hotel. The hotels (2) are separated by a river with a mono rail linking them on the roof of the hotel. The Perspex windows of which are now hard to see out of due to age. The room was just ok with 1970’s décor not to my... More

I was really worried about our tour (200+ people) using this hotel after reading the other Trip Advisor reviews. Perhaps the lowered expectations contributed to my experience. Anyway, there was hot water (and cold bottled still and sparkling water) on the breakfast buffet. There were plenty of choices of food including yogurt, cheese, pastries, minimal fruit. The biggest negative was... More

Not much to say about this hotel except that it is as I say in the title. It is in a dismal part of town, staff are unhelpful, the ridiculous excuse for an indoor pool is a puddle surrounded by a restaurant with no changing area or sitting area. There is no literature in the bedroom telling you about anything,... More

This is worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time. I chose the hotel despite its unfavourable Tripadvisor reviews due to its proximity to the Pole du Cheval, where we were competing. I knew I had made a mistake as soon as I arrived at the main reception and was brusquely directed to the "other building" at the... More

I travel quite often and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. You will never be able to see the hotel manager when you have a complaint. The floor of the toilet is very slippery. As a result, I fell down the floor and had a serious injury. They said it is the fault of myself and... More

Nice room – large with a comfortable bed; good hot water. Good restaurant. Small balcony but pleasant. As is usual in France, you pay for the room and 2 can stay with no extra charge. There is an unusual glass sliding door between the bedroom and the bath room/hall which looked to be a real hazard, especially at night, as... More
