Stayed three nights on a Battlefields Tour. Small room with very little space for clothes. Small rail and no shelves. We kept our clothes in the suitcases. Bathroom coukld have been cleaner but had adequate shelving for toiletries. Toilet and shower could have done with a clean up as stained. Hot tap in shower very stiff so had to call... More

I last travelled to this hotel possibly 10 years ago and with the exception of the staff I don’t think anything had changed. The décor certainly hadn’t. The room was plain, but functionable enough. Storage space in this fairly sizable room was not generous, being limited to a couple of shelves and a rail for hangers. The TV in room... More

I visited this hotel in July 2015 as part of a coach tour package. I’d requested a disabled room, as I have problems getting in and out of baths and need a walk-in shower. Well, what I got wasn’t exactly walk-in: it was a step-up shower with a corner entry – the two panels which met at the corner slid... More

We booked a 3-person room for 1 night here to visit the Normandy beaches. I chose it mostly for it's agreeable location just north of Caen with easy access to the city (10 minutes via tramway), free parking and easy access to the beaches (just 2 km to get out of the city) The room was good with comfortable beds... I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On the plus side the access to all the nearby D Day sights is good. Parking is good and the hotel is set in a quiet business park/university campus so a peacefull night's sleep is guaranteed. The little bar area has plenty of seating and the male staff in this establishment are to... More

Booked in on Ledger Tour, this looked okay from reception and dining room. Carpets on stairs threadbare in places. Some lights in corridors not working or flickering. Rooms very basic even no cups just small plastic like cups. Water in shower did not run away very quickly, bath towels small no hand towels. Breakfast was continental only with only 2... More

We stayed 4 nights on a Leger battlefields holiday. We were slightly concerned to be booked into a 2* hotel and more so when we saw some of the reviews, but need not have been. The hotel is more than adequate. The staff were welcoming and always had a smile. Their English was excellent and they were very service oriented... More

Stayed at this hotel with Leger. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Caen and you will need to get a tram or taxi to centre of town. I too have read previous reviews and although the room can be described as basic but functional, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Where this hotel shines though was... More

We stay here with Leger Tours on the Battlefield Tour. Hotel was Ok, food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Room could have done with some drawer space , but only there four nights, so left clothes in suit case. Booked a twin room, only to find three single beds in, so if they had kept it to a twin...
