If you are planning a stay in the Normandy region, book your stay at Clos De Bellefontaine! Carol Mallet, the owner, is a gem! Her kindness, hospitality and attention to detail is extraordinary. We booked two nights for our stay in the Elegance Guest Room. It was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortably decorated. Carol accommodated our morning outings and had... More

Of all the places we stayed during our visit to France this was our favorite. If you plan on visiting the Normandy region, I cannot recommend highly enough Clos de Bellefontaine. The location in Bayeux is perfect for touring WW2 sites and is within easy walking distance to the charming town of Bayeux and the Bayeux Tapestry. The innkeeper, Carole,... More

Carol is the perfect innkeeper, tourist guide and cook. Her home is quite lovely, the breakfasts include homemade breads and tarts and her rose jelly is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I will mention that like all old homes in the area there are stairs that lead to the bedrooms- and for older travelers, light suitcases make the access... More

We stayed at the Clos de Bellefontaine for three days and had a wonderful time! Carole was an excellent hostess who created a delicious breakfast for us each morning (e.g., French crepes, apple cake, homemade jams, fresh fruit, local Normandy cheeses, yoghurt, cold cuts). She went out of her way to provide us with tourist information (brochures, maps) pertinent to... More

This B&B was absolutely wonderful. Beatiful house with beautiful gardens right in Bayeaux. Perfect location to see all that Normandy has to offer. The hostess Carole is awesome from all the advice, the presentation of the B&B to the homemade breakfast. The breakfast is filled with amazing home made food (even down to the jams!) and was a great way... More

I stayed at Clos de Bellefontaine with my friends in June, and it was a perfect place to stay. We only had one night, and it was not enough. Carole was a perfect host, and gave us much information about Bayeux. The breakfast in the morning was picture perfect. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely... More

One of the highlights of my travels with four friends was our one night stay in Bayeux at this lovely home. It was entirely delightful. The rooms were bright and very comfortable. And the breakfast was perfect - delicious and generous in a gorgeously appointed dining room. Carol was very helpful and made us feel like treasured guests. Perfect!

Our stay was three nights in this lovely character filled house. It is located within a very short walk of all the Bayeux restaurants and well placed for all the places to visit in Normandy. We stayed in one of the double rooms on the first floor. Very spacious and immaculate. This appeared to be one of only three rooms,... More

My friends and I only had one night to stay in Normandy. We were so blessed to stay at Clos de Bellefontaine. The rooms were well appointed. Carole was so generous with information. Breakfast was delicious. When I come back to the region, I will stay here again.
