Room was nice. People were very friendly and helpful. Spoke English, which was a plus. The hotel is in a good location of town. Continental breakfast came with the room. Bayeux is a good central place to be for sightseeing the countryside, cemeteries, and beaches.

Arrived late with no reservation, they were most accommodating. A comfortable room and bath, good breakfast & helpful Owner. Very good value. No elevator. 1/2 block off main shopping street. Located on town square where a Farmer's Market operates on Saturday mornings.

We stayed here for two nights on our trip through Normandy. We had two rooms that were a good size. The owners were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. For the price, this is a very good option if visiting Bayeux, it's close to everything and has all that a vistitor needs including free Wifi!!!

We visited Bayeux a little over a week ago en route to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery, among other local spots. My husband and I were traveling with our 5 and 2 year old sons and Hotel Mogador proved to be the perfect spot for us for the one night. We checked in in the early evening (found it...

We only stayed one night and found this hotel just as described by other reviewers. The woman who checked us in was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Our room faced the courtyard and we were aware that voices carried easily when the windows were open so we were quiet and so was everyone else. The location...

We spent two nights in this hotel. Small, clean, and quaint. The owners were great and had info about everything in town. Everything in town is an easy walk from the hotel. Room actually had a small closet. Beautiful private bathroom. Good size by European standards. I would highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel!!!! Steps are a bit narrow. I...

We stayed at the Mogador two nights during our visit to Normandy. The manager is very friendly and helpful. He arranged for two bicycles to be available the next morning and we were able to visit most of the attractions along the beach front with two full days of cycling. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was...

After trying many places including the tourist office we found all of Bayeux full, or so we thought. Walking back to where we had left the car we saw this small nondescript hotel in the corner of a square at the top end of the High Street. Certain they would be full we enquired and found they were not. We...

Our first impression: We were impressed that the owner was waiting for our arrival. He held the door open for us and checked us in right away. Very friendly man. The location is awesome....besides a bar/cafe, across the street from a boulangerie and next to a bank machine. Plus, around the corner is the main street of Bayeux, full of...

My mother, sister, and I stayed here for 2 nights in July 2013 and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is very centrally located and so easy to walk to many restaurants and shops. There is free and secure parking in the square in front of the hotel. We had a triple room (1 double bed, 1 single bed)...

“If you don't mind a little noise from the street below floating up, the street side rooms offer great views into the square! Also, request a lower floor room if you have heavy luggage or limited accessibility - it's a lot of stairs to the top!”

“This is a small hotel, I think all the rooms are similar.”

“I would request a room in the back if I returned; the rooms on the plaza are lit throughout the night by the hotel's sign, and there is the general noise from traffic and folks out in the plaza.”
