We took the train from Paris- and schlepped our luggage to the hotel. (a taxi would have only been 5e- noted for next time!) It is situated in the small medievel town of Bayeux-...

A charming little hotel in the centre of town. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is decorated with WW2 memorabilia which makes it an interesting place. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A great choice in the center of Bayeux! Attractions, markets, food, and wine are all within walking distance. The staff is genuinely friendly and interested in making your stay memorable. And, you can polish your French with the patient breakfast staff. A great value!

We booked two rooms for us and the kids. However the rooms were not close to each other and this created some issues. They were wonderful and immediately moved us to adjoining rooms. Very helpful with young kids. The staff is excellent and the location walking distance from all the great cafe's and the beautiful Cathedral. Morgana at the front...

The Churchill was a great place to stay. The hotel walls are lined with pictures from WWII. There are also display cases throughout. The staff was friendly and very helpful in all regards including great restaurant recommendations. The hotel is in the heart of town and convenient to shopping, restaurants, the tapestry museum and the beautiful church. Worth every penny.

We, family of four including two teens, stayed here for one night in order to tour the D-Day sites. We had friendly communications by email in booking the hotel and follow up questions. We arrived about 6 p.m. and the person who checked us in seemed to know our name when we walked in (perhaps we were the last to...

This is a lovely hotel with charming staff in a perfect location for tours to the D-Day beaches plus the sites in Bayeux. It is also reasonably priced, with decent sized rooms, especially compared to Paris. If I had to do it over again, we'd stay an extra day and take the hotel's shuttle to Mont St. Michel. The rooms...

This hotel is literally right in the center of Bayeux. A short walkway led you to the main street. The Bayeux Tapestry and Cathedral are about a three minute walk. There is a tourist office about a minute away and a supermarket right next door; there are many restaurants nearby within walking distance, it just depends on what you want...

Location, location, location. I was in Bayeux chiefly to take one of the D-day tours. The company I chose made pick-ups right behind the hotel, the Bayeux tapestry was a 3 minute walk, the cathedral maybe even closer, and the hotel offers a shuttle to Mont St. Michel to boot! The hotel felt cozy with a touch of "through this...
