Absolutely dreadful place, turned up to the room with an unmade bed, tissue paper in the toilet, which by the way, would not flush at all during our visit, had to go over the road to the mainline station to use the loo,no blinds in the bathroom so the view from the street must have been good when we stepped out of the shower !!!!!... Okay, it is probably a coincidence that the first restaurant I have a meal at in France (this time, as I have been to France previously) happened to be named after the famous dictator that conquered all of Europe only to fall foul of the Russian winter. Anyway, being the first restaurant (or rather pub) that I came across as... More

Me and three friends booked to stay here for one night during Euro 2016. The hotel itself was fairly basic, but was absolutely fine for our needs. However, I had booked two rooms and upon arriving we were informed that they had only reserved us one room, despite the fact I presented them with a booking confirmation clearly showing two... More

Ok, so myself and my cousin visited the bar/restaurant this evening in persuit of some delicious moules frites! We ordered two portions of moules a la Creme. Now, the portions were very generous however, I feel it was quantity over quality. The sauce was essentially hot milk and had I thought to bring some coco pops/nesquik, I may have been... More

On an impromptu visit to Lille BOOKING guided me here. The loaction could not be more central, directly oppsite Lille Fanders station. I had not expected such a pleasantly large and spacious room (I guess c:a 6 x 3,5 x 3,5 m), and also not, given its location, that it would be so quiet. It was excellent for working in... More

The location is great, directly opposite Lille Flandres station although in truth there are several others very close by. The weather was extremely hot while I was there which might excuse a certain amount of indifference on the part of the staff, who were however largely indifferent. The room contained a curious collection of new things and things which I... More

The location can't be faulted for train stations and the Old Town but the facilities are basic at best. The room was too small for the bed and you practically had to sidle around sideways. Also the toilet was not fixed to the floor and wobbled every time you sat down. It is extremely reasonably priced, but that is no... More

The best thing about the hotel is the location- this is a fact. Although it can get noisy, especially around 5-6 am when garbage trucks do their rounds. I didn't expect a fancy hotel, but I wasn't prepared to go into 1989 amenities... My biggest disspointment was the lack of a heating system in the room and prepare: bathroom. I... More

This is more or less just what it professes to be: a two-star hotel. There's no dedicated reception, you check in at the bar and no phone in the room if you need to contact someone at the hotel (as I did, when people in the room next door loudly argued for several hours into the wee hours of the...
