Unfortunately I paid for the room without seeing it. Kip. Chemical toilet. TV didn't work. No internet. Bad, unsafe location. Advised by manager to park car in underground car park and not to use onsite parking. Should not be advised on Booking.com. Stayed in room 10 minutes before phoning Holiday Inn Calais for a room. Left after 10 minutes. No...

Lovely old fashioned Hotel in a great location. We only stopped one night but the walk along the beach front was great, even though the weather was freezing cold. The owner was very friendly even when I had to cancel the breakfast because I had the Euro tunnel times wrong. I would recommend this hotel and I will be visiting...

The owner was very friendly and helpful , lovely chap . Do not be put off by the area and outside appearance of the hotel ! The room was lovely , spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed and sitting area. The balcony with table and chairs was a real bonus with superb views over the beach out to sea...

This has been by far one of the most under-estimated hotels Ive been in. For a 1 Star rating, this hotel has a major advantage of its location - bang on the beach, in all true sense. Had reserved a room with a balcony facing the beach. We spent 3 nights there. The mornings were a pleasure to wake up...

Excellent value for money. Stayed here a few times and the place is growing on me. Get a room with a balcony and you get a view of the beach and the sunset. Rooms are clean and functional but could do with a bit of attention in places. For a 1* I will definitely stay again,£100 for 2 nights peak...

We recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. It's location was on a side street from the huge beach, parking was limited but seemed fine for us. The room was basic as you would expect, but clean with really comfy bed and pillows. The owner was lovely and accommated a further night requested at the last minute. We...

Stayed here for one night on route to catch the ferry and apart from a sea view with small balcony were disappointed with this hotel. It was a 1 star hotel so I guess you get what you pay for but the price we paid could have got us an Ibis with much bigger rooms. The room itself was quite...

After a long drive we were welcomed by very friendly staff, the corridors are a bit dark, and the room was small but the view from the room was fab, it had a little balcony and what a pleasure to sit out and watch the world go by. The bathrooms are small (the review says they are small so that...

Lovely room with a slightly colonial feel, clean, smart and great value, Private balcony and seating on each room overlooking the stunning beach with crashing waves, what more could you ask for? Well? next door to the hotel is probably the best takeaway Pizza I have ever had, coupled with a typical and very friendly French Pub just opposite. I...

A simple over night trip to Dunkirk spoiled by horrific traffic, horrendous weather, rubbish hypermarket and concerns when we didn't seem able to check in - were dispelled by the very charming manager/owner of this hotel. Panic ensued when we appeared to not be able to get in but I blame the very confusing guest who claimed not to speak...

Well? next door to the hotel is probably the best takeaway Pizza I have ever had, coupled with a typical and very friendly French Pub just opposite. I want to live there. The hotel owner is probably the nicest person I have met, very patient as I know I am and was a pain in the bum, I turned up really late and nothing seemed too much trouble. They have a lovely restaurant at the hotel which I took full advantage of at breakfast, stuffed myself silly and still they offered me more, how can they afford to do it at that price I don't know, anyway can't praise them enough, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, I'll definitely be back.”
