Stop over in October to get ferry back to uk. Nice site 30 mins from ferry port. Short walk into the prom and beach with access code from the park. Nice size pitches and looks to have a nice Pool and play areas in season. Mix of chalets and pitches.

Campsite in the dunes just east of Dunkerque. Walking distance to fabulous beach. Large sites in a large clean campsite. Did not visit sanitary facilities as we have our ovn in caravan and we were warned from other descriptions of the campground.
Comfortalble cycling distance from downtown on the beach boardwalk.
One MAJOR drawback about our 3-stay was that thet party every night at the Kite school next door with very loud pop music until midnight - not something I appreciate on my vacation. Most people stayed one night, was it the notice or were they just in transit - I don't know.

We spent 1 night here as a stop off on the way to Calais.
We arrived after check in but the security did a great job even with the language barrier.
The site itself is lovely and directly on dunkirk beach which is one of the highlights of our tour.
The facilities are okay and could do with an update, but for the price you can’t moan and I would definitely stop off here again.

We were so optimistic when we arrived here. The staff are lovely and the location great, right next to the beach. However, we had booked 2 nights and left after the first night having been kept awake until 3.30am from some kind of nightclub next door. We were right at the back of the site near the beach gate. It was boom boom boom until 3.30am. A previous review has mentioned music from a school next door but I don’t know exactly where it came from and if it’s every night. It’s not the site’s fault I guess but it does affect their customers and should be mentioned on booking. I have awarded 2 stars for location and great staff. There are no toilet seats, the toilets are mixed men and women together and there is no toilet roll or soap. I’ve noticed this is common on French camp sites but it’s awful. We left and went to a different site nearer to the port which was incredibly peaceful.

We stayed here the start of April and was very disappointed. It was a building site. They were having new cabins put in so there was work going on everywhere. They hadn't even cut the grass for the people staying in campervans. 1 set of toilets had no seat or toilet roll. The children's swimming pool/ slides were shut off. We didn't get told any of this until we arrived...had we have known we wouldn't of stayed here...

Well maintained camping with all the amenities, located just by the famous Dunes and 20 minutes to Dunkirk. Back gates, in fact, provides direct access to the coastal park, with the beach being a 5 minute walk at a slow pace. Plenty of parking in and outside the site. Secure and quite, ideal for a relaxing weekend or a longer holiday.

We spent 1 night here as a stopover to catch the Dunkirk ferry the next day (the Dunkirk ferry isn’t actually in Dunkirk it is situated at Loon Plage around 20 km away). There is limited parking space before reception – room for perhaps 3 outfits. Friendly reception staff. A large site with many statics. Good size grassy pitches. A special rate is offered for campers spending only one night. Pleasant surroundings, pitches separated by small hedges. Reasonable facilities. Free WiFi for 10 minutes, pay after that. There are some horrific speed bumps throughout the site, some with serious scratches and pieces missing where vehicles have bottomed out. Access to the beach is possible through a site gate, and it is possible to walk or cycle into Dunkirk centre from the campsite, a few km to the west. It is easy and straightforward to reach the ferry form the site (about 25km) making this a good stopover site.

Staid for 2 nights at the end of a Europe road trip in our campervan.
The campsite has large pitches and access to the beach for lovely walks.
I was very disappointed on arrival at looking at the facilities. I used the old toilet block which was very dingy. Thankfully, I found the newer facilities which simply labelled as disabled. These are much nicer and warmer but still no toilet seats or toilet roll. I find it crazy that you have to carry your own loo roll around the site with you.
The site is very handy for Le Tunnel.
We didn’t use the restaurant.
I would’ve rated the campsite 3.5 if o could as it’s slightly better than average but it isn’t very good. I just don’t enjoy sitting on a toilet with no seat.

Stopped here for a long weekend, booked online which was nice and easy. Was very busy on this weekend but the bathrooms were always clean. Bar is ok and I like that you can get bread and croissants in the morning there. Menu is poor, but OK if you really need something.
Fantastic location, right next to the beach, we enjoyed walking the promenade into the city centre, where there are lots of restaurants to get food.
Will take a bike next time.
(Its a big site, and the staff are very helpful and speak English. There are play areas for children) Supermarche down the road too.
