I am generous with my stars ; in this case it is most deserving.Granted I arrived at Toulouse Matabiau station on Easter Sunday 2017 at 10 pm, with a most distraught and stressed travel companion ; and signs of 'tren Complet' everywhere ; in the company of a hopeful, yet forlorn looking crowd staring just staring at the last train... meaning...

2 of the finest coffee mugs I have ever had the honour of sipping from were awaiting my arrival in my room. good location for the train/bus station, not the nicest area I've ever seen but room was nice and roomy with a pleasant selection of toiletries

This an old retrofitted hotel. In general for price & location and ok only choice. Unless you are on your own, about the size of an ant, and similar sized luggage, the room we had was less than fair. Other rooms may be better, so a tips avoid room 609. WiFi only permits one device at a time and is...

Second time I've stayed here, this time free breakfast buffet included, huge bed, A/C, free WiFi, restaurant/bar on-site, well-equipped, HD TV, separate in-room bathroom w/ all kinds of "goodies", from soaps/gels to coffee/tea-maker (incl. tea bags & instant coffees), impeccably clean, love those white sheets and extra pillows! Check out various internet sites for the best price - my base...

We stayed at Grand Hotel d'Orleans for 1 night as part of cycle tour organised by Rando Velo. We felt there were pros and cons about it: Location - good location near to the station and canal, but street amenity and atmosphere around here is not very inviting, and not assisted by the fact that most of the street was...

Thank you for giving your opinion about our hotel, we were pleased to welcome you during your cycle tour in France! We are sorry that you didn't feel well in the street atmosphere. As you said the street is under construction, for several months now, and we're sorry it disturbed your stay in Toulouse. We would be happy to welcome...

The hotel is very, very close to the Train Station, which is great, as this is also on the Canal and only a couple of blocks from everything else. The neighbourhood is a little sketchy at night, and it was amusing to see, as we schlepped our heavy bags in the dark, that the neon was burnt out so that...

I stayed here one night on business. Although the exterior looks rather shabby, the hotel has recently gone through a refurbishment of all the rooms. Everything is clean and works and the bed is comfortable, with the right level of firmness. Breakfast was average, with no hot food. Viennoiseries were small and unremarkable. WiFi was decent and stable but on...

I stayed at the hotel with one of my friends for a week or so as we were visiting another of our friends. The hotel is located near the main train station in Toulouse (5 minutes' walk) and about 15 minutes' walk or so from the city centre and the town hall/main square of Toulouse. It was truly a perfect...

We stayed as a group of 15 for work. Hotel is central, staff is rude and not helpful, were trying to charge more, not answer on emails, sometimes people answering on phone calls don't speak english. Wouldn't recommend it, if you have any other choice, including Ibis hotel in the next building.

If you're in France and get stuck in Toulouse (I'd cross that city off my list, but I had business there), this 3 * hotel is literally across the street from the SNCF Train and the Bus Stations. I paid 68 Euros (through hotels.com) end of October for a lovely room, queen-size bed, clean & new as a whistle, including...
