A family-run hotel, the owners are friendly, helpful and really care about your comfort. Our room was newly redecorated (the paint was barely dry!) spacious, modern decor, not luxurious, but comfortable and clean, and it had a private balcony overlooking the hotel's central courtyard and glassed-in breakfast room. Good location with an easy walk from the railway station and only 5 minutes' walk to the centre of the city. Freshly decorated room was well furnished with comfortable beds and no problems with noise. Wonderful shower. Our superior room had a balcony - well worth the couple of extra euros a night. Friendly and efficient staff.

We were charged 75 euros per night in early October-- well above the average quoted in Trip Advisor. Front desk people are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good although not inexpensive. (8 euros). Only...

Having stayed in a number of similarly priced hotels in SW France we found this one quite disappointing. Despite a glowing review in the Lonely Planet the room was small, stuffy, had no AC and was in much need to improvement. There was also no AC.

We stayed in a family room, plenty of space for the 4 of us quiet and spotlessly clean. A bit of a climb as it was on the 3rd floor. The cab that we ordered arrived on time. Friendly efficient helpful service from front desk. 5 minutes walk to the centre, good value for money
