We managed to obtain 3 rooms late in the afternoon from the English speaking hotel owner, so we could enjoy a walk around the darling village and take great photos of the river and surrounding mountains. Rooms were small but clean, with updated bathrooms. Some rooms and open on to a private courtyard or overlook the river. There are a...

Stayed for l'Ariegeoise cyclosportive. The owners are very nice and helpful with our cyclists needs. They have a garage for the bikes and even set breakfast an hour earlier the morning of the race. Start line is just across the river. Perfect location. There's a restaurant next door where you can sit under the trees above the river (reservation recommended...

What a fabulous stopover we enjoyed here en route to Barcelona and the ferry to Menorca. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Francoise who showed us how to find the very private hotel car park. The room was basic but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed, loads of hot water and fluffy white...

This is a traditional 2 star French hotel, not glamourous or modern but clean, functional and, best of all, in a lovely position by the river. The welcome from the new owners, who have been there since the beginning of April, was very friendly and helpful. We paid a little extra for a "superior" room which had a view over...

We stayed at this hotel for one night in advance of our visit to Grotte Niaux. Prior to booking, I could only find reviews from cyclists and hikers, not simply tourists. We usually stay in 4 star hotels. The hotel is clean with a happy atmosphere. The rooms are of adequate size and the breakfast was wonderful. There are stairs...

The service was warm and friendly, the room clean, the bed comfy and there was lots of nice hot water for a shower. Buffet breakfast very good, with lots of choice. This is a charming 2 star hotel in a great location to explore the land of the Cathars (eg Foix and its Castle and Montségur). We were only passing...

A small fairly basic hotel ideally situated in a pretty village close to the caves at Niaux. The staff (come to think of it we only saw one) were friendly, the breakfast was good once you mastered the coffee maker, and the location, right on the river, was excellent. The room was very small for a double but as we...

As others have said, this little hotel is a very friendly place in a beautiful location. The gentleman who checked us in found out I spoke Spanish so he chose to use it with me. Much easier for me than French! Both he and his wife were very interested in seeing to our comfort. This is just the kind of...

The hotel is on the water front and well placed in the village. Owner speaks fluid English which has made our stay very easy and relaxing. Breakfast has been simple but good. They have a private area for car parking. Internet - Wifi works well with no drop outs. A pleasant place to stay.
