We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour group of The Dordogne. After reading previous reviews we were a bit concerned about food quality and hosts. We had no need to worry. The hosts were absolutely charming, English lady was really nice and helpful and her French husband was a wonderful chef. Although cooking for a large...

Hotel is nice and clean but is an older hotel. Staff was very friendly. They have a restaurant just across from the hotel entrance. The breakfast was OK but not overly large in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at. This hotel is just inside the city gate. Parking to just outside the gate on the left going in,...

We spent one night here and had a lovely experience. We were two adults and two children. The rooms were extremely comfortable - simple but everything you need for a short stay. The restaurant is just opposite the hotel with delicious food at great prices. The staff were kind, happy and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again!

Laughed when I read some of the previous reviews to this place about its and size of the rooms etc, visited here as part of group - firstly the hotel is divided in what appears to be 3 different buildings with the reception in one of them , on arrival the receptionist said we had to wait until 6pm before...

Ok budget hotel. Hotel is in great location, in-spite lot of deficiency, I'd stay there again because of location Rooms are sparsely furnished and not very attractive. Probably because of small town, there was no noise in my room. Hotel own restaurant is awful.

Was very disappointed with this hotel, the food was appalling...over-cooked and reminiscent of school dinners......clearly the tour-party plebs weren't worthy of the presumably decent-quality food served to paying punters in the restaurant. A number of our party were so underwhelmed they elected to eat elsewhere after the first night....I wish we had too! Poor breakfast, coffee like brown sludge and...

This hotel is located just inside the old city gates with parking outside the gates. Road access to the hotel is through a hollowed out rock tunnel which proved interesting when large vehicles tried to enter in the opposite direction. We had a room on the second floor with a small balcony which gave us lovely views of the valley...

Stayed here for a couple of night as part of a coach and river cruise holiday with a well known company. What a let down this hotel proved to be after the wonderful river boat. The first room on the third floor had a musty damp smell and we asked to be moved, at first the hotel reception said the room...

My room was comfortable with warm shower and nice bed. It was in a good central location in the newer town close to walking to every direction. The owner provided a very nice breakfast. It reminded me of an English bed and breakfast.

I have already booked a second visit for two nights. The location of the hotel is perfect and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Views from the bedroom window are a picture. The restaurant opposite is superb.
