Good location from motorway, facilities excellent , comfy bed, fantastic shower , restaurant in site , reception friendly and check in very fast and efficient , only down fall is the corridors have no carpet so it's echoes very badly and you can hear the slightest of noise, woken several times in the night due to this ... Town is beautiful plenty to see and do and plenty of shops for food drink etc
Have previously stayed at this Hotel and found it good value. Stayed recently to find the restaurant is now closed indefinately !! If I want a b&b I will find one, but after seven hours driving I really do not want to get the car out again. I think you need to know that staying here is now a b&b, there are much better around and cheaper !
The hotel is situated in the commercial district just off the A20 motorway and therefore makes a convenient stopover on a North south journey. It was very good value, the room was clean and comfortable and there was a spacious shower which worked efficiently. The on site Bar Restaurant Grill offered a good selection of food at varying prices. We had a Menu for 19.50 euros providing a good choice of food of good quality and the service was efficient. Secure parking was a useful feature.
We stayed 3 nights at the Deltour. It is nothing fancy, but the room was fine, the beds comfortable, the water hot and the wifi fast. The location is outside of town and not noisy, so we could sleep with the windows open, but I notice a large AC unit above the door. The associated restaurant is not fancy either, but we found ourselves returning all 3 nights. It serves Aubracian food, so do try the aligot, best with a spicy sausage. Their carbonara is huge and tasty, too. We would certainly stay here again. One little caution: The reception desk is not always open, and you may have to phone an emergency number if you need help from a receptionist (we did).
Recently travelled through France ,on a budget, on our way to Andorra from England and made two stops instead of our usual one because of the bad weather conditions. I have to say I took a punt staying here as most of the Hotels in Cahors were full. From the outside I thought I had made a big mistake but the receptionist was helpful and plesant and the room was clean tidy and fine, close to the motorway we did not hear a thing. Security gates ensured the car and full contents were fine. The seperate restaurant at the front was excellent, busy but the service great and as we were staying at the Hotel we got a discount. Would certainly stay again.
