Travelling during Covid 19 was a challenge but this hotel was perfect...perfect location, perfect cleanliness and perfect for our needs. We had automatic check in, our room was suitable for our needs and the bed was comfortable. Located just off the A20 it was easy to find and surrounded by retail outlets with fast food if required. The secure car park left us with no worries for our overnight accommodation.
Nice hotel if you're passing through on a journey. Well situeded close to highway and restaurants. Neat and clean room, we had the 2person room. Airconditioning and wifi. Quit place on a Monday night. Good night sleep on, for us, great beds. The breakfast was fine: coffee, juice, (chocolate) milk, (chocolate) croissants, pain, different types of bread, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, yogurt + toppings, Nutella and jams, butter, some fruit.
It was just one night for family of 4. I was really impressed with the cleanliness. Usually I always leave shoes on but was happy to go barefeet! The upstairs loft is great for the kids. The area is great to check out some shops and restaurants, all walking distance. Even though the reception was not manned on Saturday, self check in was very easy. We have done a bed and breakfast before in this area that was more expensive and uncomfortable so won't hesitate to come back here!
We have stayed in many of the B&B hotel chain all over France. To give them a two star rating sometimes is unfair and this is one that certainly needs to be recognised as above two star. The building and car park were clean and smart, good impression on arrival. We checked ourselves in, always an easy process once you have booked online. We had a family room which sleeps four and we were three adults. The building smelt of bleach and was very clean. Our room was compact, in the usual B&B style . Our family room was not as shown in previous management photos (which look really modern) but the old style of double bed downstairs and staircase leading up to two single beds. The bathroom is located under the stairs. I have to admit one side of the double bed did just about touch the staircase so it was a little tight getting in and out of the bed on that side and the bathroom, like all is very small. But could we fault it? Room wise no, we know the chain and it is the usual layout. Bathrooms are always too small but they are clean, beds are comfy, linen is good quality and towels were fluffy. We slept really well. Breakfast was exceptional. We have never seen such huge crossiants and pain au chocolat, perfectly fresh and other breads equally wholesome. The crossiants were the best on our month long travels. The bacon and egg , often overcooked was equally as good. The hotel appears to be run by a couple who although they did not speak english were extremely friendly. Very attentive and have the place spotless. As usual the hotel is on an industrial estate, look for the Buffalo Grill, it is just behind it as we did not spot the signs easily. Tommy's diner is next door and there is a McDonalds ,Courtpaille and Del Arte all nearby. You do need a car to get into town. If we are passing through we will stay again.…
Had the most delightful one night stay at this wonderful snall, 10 room hotel. The inn keepers, Fabiree and Victor , are fabulous hosts and extremely accommodating. Clean, and comfortable with wonderful service at a very reasonable cost. When you're in Verdun tere's not a better place to stay.
