The first problem was actually reaching the hotel. The hotel sits in a bizarre one-way system whereby they change the one way direction every two weeks. The satnav could not figure out how to get to the hotel, as the no entry sign was showing for that week! The hotel itself is a beautiful building and is in a brilliant... More

I loved this place; it is in exceptional location 5 min from the shrine and five from the city center and away from the crowd around the sanctuary. This is the hotel with the little squeaking wooden stairs, with the carpets and furniture from the old times! Hotel offer real French cuisine; you have to stay here and be served... More

This is my 5th stay at this hotel. Although not a five star anymore, the hotel has kept its charm and grandeur. It is family run and the staff goes out of their way to please the guests. Some rooms are renovated.

This Hotel was a perfect French experience. Excellent location and views across the valley of Lourdes. We stayed for two nights and eat in the Hotel restaurant on the second night. The staff from the reception through the room cleaners and restaurant and bar staff were smiling, warm and helpful. They helped make the experience. As said by others the... More

We travelled as a party of 5 in May. 2 twins deluxe rooms, and one double standard. Hotel is up the hill from the grotto on a pleasant busy street but set back in its own relaxing grounds. We turned into the car park and immediately felt relief as we faced onto the view and the general pleasant look of... More

Comfortable and clean but needs refurbishing. This hotel has been owned by the same family for 4 generations. Lobby and restaurant areas were nice but rooms were a little tired. Beds were very comfortable and location was quiet and walking distance to the Shrine.

This is an old 19th century family run hotel which has seen better days. The public areas are good but the rooms are small and not very comfortable. Not sure how it justifies its five-star rating! The hotel overlooks the main town and the commercialised madness below. However it is only a few minutes walk to the basilica etc. There... More
