We stayed for one night and were sooo positive suprised. It was a really good bb with a spectacular room. Every detail was so great. We had a wonderful breakfast that was including in the price with Beautiful porcelain and very good tasting with Fresh rasberries. It was a great garden with different stores with wonderful pieces. We stayed for 1 night and Isabelle was so helpful and accommodating. The house is wonderfully decorated and breakfast superb! The location is a 15min walk into town which was fine for us. The house also has a lovely garden to relax in. The Wifi wasn't working but that was probably a good thing!

Great place and excellent service. The ideal place to enjoy quiet in an exquisite decorated house. We recommend the top floor suite facing the garden. A parking is available for your car. The garden is enchanting and the owner very helpful.

As an alternative to the big and brassy hotels yet still having charm and style is the La Villa 1901 run by Isabel.Quaint and eclectic in an old house not far from the centre of town .We stayed in the Marthe room which was comfy, warm and just had a good feel about it.No bath but a stunning shower. It's a bit out of the tourist area, perhaps 25 minutes walk. Nice rooms which offers all needed, such as a comfortable bed, nice sitting area, great shower. Breakfast was simple but fresh and Isabelle is very caring! Although I was offered the room at 145 EUR I got charged 165 EUR but I chose not to say anything. This... More

I've come several times to Nancy and without a doubt, 'La Villa 1901' always comes to mind. Leaving the traditional norms behind, this maison d'hôte truly spices up your stay regardless of the season. From the wonderful host to the creative interior designs and practical distances, there is always something new standing out. Personally, I loved the artistic yet homie... More

After an inauspicious beginning -- we got riciulously lost trying to find it -- our two-night stay at La Villa 1901 was delightful. Isabelle is an exceptionally thoughtful hostess (she got into her car and went looking for us after we phoned from our wanderings), and La Villa is lovely and relaxing, with distinctive, eye-catching furnishings. Our room, "Marthe," was... More

Located at 20/25 minutes by feet from Stanislas Place. We stayed in family room, Scarlett. This room is composed of 2 separate rooms and a bathroom. Rather expensive 200€ per night. No fridge, no shower, bath tube was in. Breakfast was very copious and well. Owners are friendly and helpful. Nice for 1/2 nights.

Bad location, on a busy avenue at the outskirts of Nancy, at 30 min walking distance from the city center. Very friendly host, whom made us dinner reservations at the excellent brasserie L'institut in the old town, packed with locals. Rooms are apart and luxurious, but the linnen and heat made sleeping a challenge (without airco op fan). Garden is... More

The place is nice and the service is very friendly and helpful. Fantastic art collection, very creative and beautiful. I expected a little more for the money we paid. There is no fridge in the room, which makes it very hard to plan for your dinner if you don't want to go out. I am a huge animal lover, but... More

“As there is no room service make sure you have your required titbits in stock. As there is no porter do not do what we did and take in 3 heavy suitcases, firstly you lug it up to the second floor yourself and secondly the room is a bit limited for excessive baggage Also no parking facilities-so you need find a parking in the street Also please be aware-there are no staff on hand and Isabel was a bit surprised when we got there before 2pm to check in-we had to wait for her to arrive to admit us-so advise her of your arrival time to avoid unnecessary delays and waiting”

“All rooms have a distinct touch to it, i'd advise to flick through the official website to see which one would suite you best. My partner and I personally enjoyed 'Le Grenier' and 'Marte Yvonne'.”

“Le Grenier - the attic suite - is spacious, air-conditioned and idyllically quiet. It's 2 floors up, so a bit tricky if you have heavy bags or any mobility considerations - but it's well worth the climb!”
