Horrible place, the worse experience in my more than 35 years traveling the world!! the man who was at the reception treat me like his slave! I ask for a soap because was only a small shampoo sachet at the toilet and the man began to shout saying very bad words againts me.- I…
Had a great experience at Les portes d'or, very welcoming staff and good service. Will definitely come back and recommend ! We have stay there few days with my family and had a chance to chat with all the members of staff who were really helpful.
I booked a night at Les Portes d'Or at the last minute because I was traveling for business and mosthotels were full by the time my trip got greenlighted by HR. So it's ideally located. But that's about it. My room was at the top floor, which the elevator doesn't reach so…

This small hotel is nothing special, but location is exceptional. Look out the window and you see Place Stanislas 100 m down the road. Simple rooms. Small lift. Bathroom could need a face lift. Extra charge for our dog. Stayed one night 23rd August 2013
"Take a room for 2 persons. Better than doubles."
"Rooms at back are quieter."
"If you have luggage don't think you will get any assistance. Although Les Portes does have lift it is on a mezzanine level meaning you have to carry your bags up a set of stairs to get there - and you may find it has been propped open by the staff."
"Go to a different hotel."
"Double check prices when booking AND on check in."
