This hotel is owned and run by an English couple who are super friendly and very helpful in offering local insights and recommendations. The hotel is situated in a small side street in an area a little away from the main historic centre but within a very easy 10 minute walk. The area does appear a little jaded, however it was perfectly safe to walk into and back from the centre and the covered garage parking just up the road is a great bonus. The rooms are clean and well presented. We had one at the front with a small balcony. Only a view of the buildings across the street but still nice to have somewhere to sit out on a warm evening. Breakfast was good value with cereals, juice, choice of hot drink, bread, croissants, jam, ham, cheese and yogurt all available. We would definitely stay here again.

I love this little hotel! Quiet location, and yet nearby the town square. Clean room, sturdy bed, warm bathroom perfect for 2-3 nights. Breakfast was simple and fresh. Andrew the owner was informative. Restaurants down the road. It had a lift, so perfect for me. No fuss location!

We had a good stay at this hotel for several nights recently. The good points outweigh a few bad points luckily. The bad points are the street it is on is rather run down and sketchy, but even walking at night we felt pretty safe. The room was bright and kitschy but could really use a freshening up, its beginning to look a bit shabby. Our balcony was heavily soiled with pigeon poop so no sitting outside. But as I said, there was a lot more good than bad. The hotel is close to the old town, easy walking distance even for senior citizen such as us to the amphitheater and so much more. The rooms are large, and I liked the kitschy furnishings and colors although my hubby didn't nearly as much. The hotel has a lift, so no lugging baggage up narrow stairs. It has a breakfast room where we got the mini breakfast each morning of pain au chocolate or crescents with coffee. GOOD FRESH BREWED AMERICAN STYLE COFFEE! The only coffee of its sort we found in hotels in this region! Bless you! The owner (Andrew) is from the UK so speaks the Queen's English well which helps us Americans, and he was very pleasant and helpful, giving us dining suggestions, etc. There is a garage for car parking that is 10 Euro extra, but as parking on the street is packed it was worth it. All in all, we like our stay here and had restful sleep and great coffee in the a.m! Andrew made it easy with his suggestions which were greatly appreciated.

Great location. Easy walk from train/bus station. Within walking distance of all historic sites, restaurants etc. The owners are fantastic and so helpful with good restaurants, and where to visit. The hotel has a lift which is fabulous. We had been in 4 stars with no lift. Kettle for tea and coffee, and a small fridge. Supermarkets close by. Very clean room with huge bed, aircon and the best hot shower. Breakfast available if you choose. Booked for 3 nights and stayed for 5. Nimes is a great spot to visit. And I would highly recommend this little hotel.
