The hotel is very convient for the station as it's only about 50 meters from the station door. It's about 10 minutes walk to the arena down a beautiful pedestrian boulevard. The staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our bags before check-in as we arrived about 10.00h. And after we checked out so it was easy to collect them on the way to the station. The room was ok but a bit noisy first thing in the morning. The bed was a good size, but did drop slightly in the middle. It was fine for 1 or 2 nights but I wouldn't want to stay longer as the pillows were slightly lumpy as well. Against this it was quite good value for money.

This hotel is literally across the street from the SCNF railway station in Nimes, France, at the one end of the Avenue Feuchere. This broad treelined avenue leads up to the ancient center of the town where most of the Roman ruins can be visited and where there are numerous restaurants, street cafes, and shops. But leave the station on the correct side or you'll miss it! The Hotel has its own parking area - a BIG plus point if you have a car. It also features free WiFi, not a strong connection but better than nothing, a buffet breakfast that has the usual selection of bread, pastry, cereal, yogurt, fruit, cheese, ham, coffee, tea, and juice. The standard double room is basic but clean and both the shower and toilet worked well. The window could be opened - not something you get in modern hotels - which was a relief because it was very hot when we stayed over and the cool night breeze was refreshing. It did mean that we could hear the train announcements, but it was quiet from around 24h00 to around 06h00. It is probably a bit cramped to stay over for a long time, but if you arrive late at night on the train or have to catch an early morning one, this hotel is absolutely ideal. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the platforms on foot.

My disabled husband and I stayed here for just one night and the hotel was much better than we expected for a 2* hotel. It was extremely good value for money. The public spaces were attractively decorated and furnished, the breakfast was very copious and was also good value for money at 8€ each. The downstairs bedroom was suitable for my husband who walks with difficulty - it was a bit tatty at the edges but had everything we needed. A special mention for the staff who were lovely but especially Ferza who was gave us an extremely warm welcome when we arrived and helped my husband later that evening when he could no longer walk - terribly kind and patient with a great sense of humour - Ferza you made our stay a lovely and memorable experience! Would recommend to anyone!!

Im a fan of Nimes, it's a beautiful city, charged with history and actually on of my fav cities in France. I'v stayed in this hotel this last weekend. The staff was very nice and helpful, there's a very small payed (10€) parking available inside the property. A beautiful old building right in front of the train station, so i would say that's it's its top quality, renovation is ok with exception to our shower. The room has all the basic needs, no AC, but there was an electric heat and a ventilator inside the closet. The bed was very confy and clean. The only thing i didnt like was the shower, i found it was a bit dangerous and also there was a ventilation grill missing so we could see all the dirty pipes. Also, there was a bit of dust behind the tv and below the bed. Breakfast was ok, but no vegetarian options, not even soy milk. Overall, i recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent as it's just right next to the train station and the attractions are just in the nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. However, it has sign stating no smoking everywhere but there's always smoking smell in the corridor.
