The Grand Hotel is located right on the edge of the old town and the southern edge of Place de la Comédie and by the tram stop of the same name. As the whole zone is pedestrianised the best way is to park in the underground car park, Parking de la Comédie (entrance via the Tunnel de la Comédie). The...

The Grand Hotel du Midi is perfectly placed to enjoy the best of the city. It is so central yet only a few minutes from the main station and even less from the tram. The staff are so helpful being genuinely keen to please. The rooms are plenty big enough and typically modern french in style but warm and comfortable...

I stayed for six nights during a work trip to Montpellier. My room, despite facing the street, was very quiet and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning my room each day, and the wireless internet works very well. The design is stylish and does a great job incorporating modern elements with the classic features of the building....

This Grand Dame of Montpellier needs a bit of cosmetic help but still offers good value for money and the convenience of the city centre at its doorstep. Room was small but reasonable well furnished. As Montpellier is a city that I always love to explore I don't spend much time in the room anyway. Parking is a bit of...

We were really pleased with our four night stay at this hotel. It enjoys an excellent location adjacent to the main square, shops and local tram lines. It is only minutes from the main line train station. The staff could not be more helpful. Every time we had a question, all members of the reception team were keen to offer...

This is a perfect location for exploring Montpellier. Everything is right at your doorstep, and it's an easy walk from the train station with suitcases. You are close to trams, and to the winding lane ways of the old town full of shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are large with everything you need. Staff are very friendly and helpful....

Charming hotel in the city centre next to the theatre. Recently refurbished in a sometimes questionable taste and needing some final attention to detail. Rooms are nice and well insulated from the noisy area. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Go for the express breakfast in the bar which is great value compared to the buffet.

The hotel is an older hotel that is probably past its prime. Its rooms are still comfortable and spacious , but its main attraction is its location, it is central to anywhere you want to go in Montpellier and near to transport if you want to go out of the city.

This was our first visit to Montpellier, and the hotel's location could not have been better. Just a stone throw from Place Comedie, and a few steps from the very interesting old city center. The room was of a good size (to be in central Europe...), clean and modern. And we really enjoyed the breakfasts - plenty choices of good...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Front desk staff was terrific. Matthew and Michele (Michael) were great. Seriously good !!! Lots and Lots of help !! However, at 9:30 am we put out the hotel's own sign on the door that said "please make up the room". And we left the hotel for walking and touring. Returned...
