Just fantastic! Huge doors opening off a cobblestone narrow side street, across a partially covered courtyard, up a stone staircase ( no elevator) and you are then welcomed by the owner in a room that looks as though it has barely moved on from the eighteenth century (much of the building dates to 1777). The ceilings, mirrors, windows and furnishings...

My adult daughter and I spent 4 nights at baudon de mauny in the historic centre of Montpellier. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Its historic atmosphere beginning as one enters the courtyard, so easy to imagine a horse and carriage arriving, up the very wide but gently sweeping decorative iron railed staircase (again easy to imagine breeches clad M.Baudon de Mauny...

An old mansion updated into a luxury hotel but retaining the historic charm of 17th-18th century stone floors, grand staircases, huge rooms/suites, soaring ceilings and windows you can fit a mini cooper through. Staff is engaging, helpful, considerate. During a 16 day trip to four cities, I stayed in all four star hotels, and Baudon de Mauny outshone them all....

We recently spent two nights in this hotel. We had a warm welcome and the person who greeted us provided practical information about the hotel, the surrounding restaurants and even some interesting museums to visit. Our room was very large, with a large bedroom, a large living room area and a spacious and well-appointed bathroom. We can't comment on the...

This hotel only has 8 rooms, yet it is a large old building with immense character. The ceilings are about 15 feet high, which only historic old buildings have. The location is perfect - right in the center of the old town. Good restaurants are nearby, as well as lots of shops. I would go there again the next time...

Superb hotel with a delightful mix of the traditional and contemporary. Beautiful rooms and superb service - staff really attentive and considerate. Couldn't speak highly of the whole setup. They took time to introduce us to the hotel and the city with a excellent briefing.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Baudon de Mauny in Montpellier. 18th century meets 21st. Our room was fantastic, enormous in size and extremely well appointed. Warm and welcoming staff who were only too pleased to assist. This is a must if you are looking for some luxury in Montpellier.

We had the luck to greet the New Year of 2015 in this perfectly restored mansion in the old town of Montpelier. The staff, Thibault and Emie were so friendly and helpful. I am also a hotelier and I found them exceptional. The owner, Alan, invited us for a glass of champagne on New Years Eve and they unfailingly found...

Sometimes you wonder if the word Boutique is not just bandeid around by those trying to market their small hotel as something else but not here. This is genuinely beautifully furnished with a play on both modern and traditional. It is located in the old part of Montpellier and is perfectly placed in the old part of the city. The...

I stayed here on a business trip but I wish It was a holiday. It is a great hotel and the service was excellent. The building itself and the hotel is beautiful. I stayed in the XXL room and I would definitely recommend this. I will find a reason to go back....
