We stayed for two nights and we had booked two rooms. On finding the hotel which isn't, by the way totally easy, we were delighted with what we saw! This is a gem of a restoration created by the family owners with wit and panache. The wide stairways have not been over prettified and the slightly distressed look marries well...

I chose Montpellier for a stop because of this hotel. As a surprise for my family as there are my husband and our two kids (7 and 9). What can I say: this house is excellent in so many ways. We were really surprise when we arrived at the first floor of Baudon de Mauny (after we stepped through the...

A stunning, unique & elegant haven hidden within Montpellier's Old Town, offering calm, cool beautiful surroundings, very discreet yet super informative service & a fantastic breakfast. The perfect place for a romantic long weekend in Montpellier or if visiting the coast.

We stayed one night at Baudon de Mauny in July travelling through Montpellier. This is a small hotel made from a former city palace of De Mauny. It is located in the old town, within tight and small streets, where no cars can drive. We where provided with instructions from the hotel on where it was best to park, and...

What a privilege to have been able to share the history and sophistication of Baudon de Mauny for five days in late June. The manor house is located in the old part of town with the walking streets and has been brilliantly renovated into an 8 room guest house, with superior attention to detail melding the old with the new...

This hotel is very nice. Great location in the center of the pedestrian only old city but very close to a reasonably priced car park. The building is fantastic, nicely restored with good furnishings. The main salon is very inviting and the hotel offers coffee and tea without charge and a good selection of spirits at an honor bar. We...

Impressive, historic and beautiful hotel, approached through a lovely cobbled courtyard. Our room-an upgrade- was up a flight of stone steps, and was stylish and spacious. This is a great place to stay if you want to be just minutes from the centre of Montpellier, while returning at the end of the day through a door off the street,Narnia-style, into...

This hotel is hidden within the old streets of Montpellier with just a small sign to show that it is there. Walk through the enormous doors and what greets you is something much different to a normal hotel. In shabby-chic style, the place is just fantastic with courtyards and enormous staircase which leads up to the hotel itself. The welcome...

Excellent welcome; we were given a drink of choice then talked through the hotel and the area. Our room was compact (superior room) but nice, great fun pink and silver flamingo wallpaper, well equipped bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is in a super location. We did not really see anyone else during our 2 night stay, so...

We stayed at Baudon de Mauny for the first time this summer. Baudon de Mauny is an old building that has been beautifully decorated with modern furniture. It is located in the heart of the old city which makes it extremely easy to move about the beautiful historical center. You have to park outside of the city because the center...
