Hotel is in a good location. Not far from the train station and facing the canal du midi. So handy for the airport bus which runs irregularly, with different timetables for different days. It's in a heritage building that really is now showing it's age in places. The rooms are a good size, with a good sized bathroom but lack...

On my birthday we stayed here for a night. Smelly room, big clean bathroom, reasonable bed. Stay away from room 133. Its adjacent at an indoor smoking garden... Breakfast was horrible, not at all like it was promised: fresh fruit? Biological produce? Better skip breakfast and just sleep here. With booking we payed 49,50. That's well worth it. The extra...

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient right by the train station and a 15-20 minute walk to the medieval city. Also nice that it's right across from the canal. The rooms that face the alley are a little loud as they collect the garbage at 5am and make a lot of noise. The town is charming....

The hotel has seen better days but for the price I paid for a few nights it was fine. The rooms are quite large and quirky, there has been some decorating but carpet a little stained. The bedding was very clean but shower not great but there was a bath if you prefer. The choice of food for breakfast was...

We chose Hotel Bristol due to the close proximity to Carcasonne railway station for our onward journey. We had a late availability booking for one night which was very good value. The hotel is dated, notably the decor, but our bedroom was large with a comfortable bed and crisp white bedlinen. The bathroom was roomy with a good shower over...

I was leaving and asked the receptionist (16/7/2016 evening) to call me a cab to get to a local music festival where I was working. Seems she called a friend rather than a legit cab firm. Guy was nice enough but drove the long way round small streets and houses to get there to milk his justification for a €15...

I want to be kind as the staff were pleasant. The hotel is of the shabby chic style, but for a three star hotel does not really make the grade. The beds were comfortable but in temperatures of 33 some form of air con would have been nice. The breakfast on one of the two morning s displayed mold on...

Nothing to complain about, but not spectacular. The location is ideal being in the city centre. Overlooking the canal, the windows on the other side situated to face a peaceful small street. Sadly the street noise can be heard through. Very good service.

We stayed for one night as a last minute decision to stay in Carcassonne and were not expecting much from the hotel. We were not disappointed in that regard. The room was basic with a poor alleyway view - forgivable under the circumstances of our unplanned stopover. However, the receptionist upon arrival was astoundingly rude. Even when leaving the establishment...

Reading the reviews about the Hotel Bristol you might be slightly apprehensive as to what you might expect. But like so many reviews on Tripadvisor you really have to ignore the occasional horror stories and the over the top "everything was wonderful" ones. In its heyday it must have been wonderful and certainly could do with a couple of million...
