Found this perfectly placed, quaint B&B in Carcassone, it suited our needs down to the ground, the bedroom was clean and spacious as was the en suite bathroom. As we were the only guests there for the first 3 nights of our stay we had the whole place to ourselves, Mark our host made us feel at home and nothing... More

Ideally positioned between old and new towns in a carismatic building. Mark the host made our visit with his good advice on what to see and do in the town and local area. Very warm welcome and lovely room although the bed was a bit soft for us. Other than that for the money we can not fault it. Thanks... More

We stayed for 3 nights in October. Our room was very spacious, and there was a large ensuite bathroom. Everything was very clean. Both Mark and Chris were very welcoming hosts. Excellent breakfast of cereal, fresh fruit salad, breads and spreads. The B&B has a a couple of shared spaces, lounge & dining, to be enjoyed by all guests, and... More

We travel a lot and this was our 3rd time in Carcasonne. We took guests here and I am very happy to say it was a brilliant decision on my part. We had a huge deluxe double room with great attention to detail. I can't remember ever having ear plugs in a hotel before Ha ha. We all had a... More

Firstly the host is excallent. Mark straight away helped with our bags and showed us where there is some excellent secure underground parking which I have to recommend, €14 for two days parking! He was informative and there only if we needed him, his advice on the town and attractions was invaluable. He also gave me his number in case... More

Lovely rooms in an ancient listed building.. We were recommended this B+B by friends and very pleased we were too. We were able to book direct which made a saving and had personal contact which is nice. We had a room in the family suite which was very large and comfortable the other room had twin beds. Breakfast was very... More

I called in early to ascertain I was in the right place as there is no obvious sign apart from small writing on the entry phone. Mark was very welcoming giving me the keys to return later. The room was large with a big noisy fan to try to cool it as the weather was hot and humid. The street... More

Very nice. In an old building - an old merchants house - with most impressive stone stairway to the different floors and apartments. NO parking outside. It is a tall building in a very narrow street. There is free parking about 5 mins walk away. The apartment is top floor (2nd) with no lift. The kind owner helped carry our... More

Last minute decision to visit Carcassonne for an overnight and amazing visit! Mark was full of information and tips about places to visit and things to do, so much so that he got to The Celt (Irish Pub) before we did, the house was sumptuous, the breakfast was perfect but no, we didn't believe that you baked the croissants yourself!... Well, it’s been a good month since my return from a fascinating and fun-filled 10 day Tour de France of my own, not on a bicycle, but on the TGV. And one of the still lingering and more pleasant memories I have is of the one night I stayed in Carcassonne in the delightful and comfortable No.11 Bed and Breakfast.... More
