This B and B is well located for walking around the city. It is well priced also. There is some need of improvement, however. The room could have been cleaner, especially around the edges and in the bath. The toilet room is in a closet off of the foyer into the room, as is the shower. The sink however is...

This hotel is in a very good location for visiting the castle. The room was very large and ultra modern. Breakfast was basic but good. Free wifi but only available in the restaurant area. The hotel has a restaurant but this was not open on the two days we stayed.

Great hotel positioned in the middle of old and new city. Friendly service with large rooms. Enjoyed it very much. Had a lively evening due to a local birthday party. Wifi, TV, fridge, washing, etc facilities available. A short walk over the old bridge to city centre and even shorter walk to the old city up the hill. People are...

This hotel is located in the center of Carcassonne at walking distance from the castle. The rooms were wide and clean, breakfast was included in the rate, though did not impress us very much. Wi-Fi connection was free and worked properly. The staff was helpful. English spoken. Value for money was good. A good option if you are in Carcassonne.

We spent one night in Carcassone before embarking on our trip on the Canal du Midi, and chose Bloc G for its location, and the availability of a family room. Our friendly host greeted us after our exhausting drive from Nice. To our most pleasant suprise, the room was huge with all amenities, and a very nice and interesting decor....

Great location, do not bother going to the new town stay with the old and medieval city. We like a bit of real but the new town is the antithesis of the beautifully kept and pristine unesco site; dirty restaurants, dilapidated buildings and quite frankly some weird looking people who looked like they were on drugs!!! Back to the B...

We had one night here and had a modern minimalist furnished large bedroom with a huge Bathroom all with a view of the old bridge. The room was on a street corner but we weren't bothered by any noise but we were early in the tourist season. The bath was enormous as were the two handbasins - could bath a...

I had just one night at the Bloc G, earlier this month - found it an interesting, quirky place with a very nice hostess who had my room ready for me early, and also a British bloke who worked the bar and who gave me an early breakfast as I had to catch a train before official breakfast began. My...

We had a big room with huge en suite and views of the Pont Vieux. Easy and free parking right outside, short walk to La Cite's Aude gate. Staff all spoke English, room was made up each day, and it was spotlessly clean; breakfast had an excellent range (though I would have liked to feel I could help myself to...

The location is great, just at the end of the pedestrian bridge and only about a 10 minute, fairly steep walk, to the old city. The new part of town and the Canal du Midi is easily accessible too, so the best of both worlds. The accommodation is quite quirky and minimalist but very comfortable and for our room we...
