Just opposit to the Gare du Nord Station and RER is very close to the hotel. It is very convenient to go places in Paris. Many restaurants around the hotel. Some of their staff are very helpful especially those in Concierge. One of their staff from Concierge who knows Cantonese and Mandarin is extremely helpful and does help us a...

Room was dirty. LInen clean, but dirsty TV, dirty shower and wear marks everywhere. Small rooms, OK its opposite teh Train station (and next door to a late night Kebab shop) but at 200 Euro its ridiculous. The Mercure further up the road is better by far. To be fair the reception staff were nice, pleasant and helpful. But the...

Stayed with young family for 2 nights. The location is great as you literally walk into the lobby from Gare du Nord station. Check in- smooth, courteous staff Room-we booked the privilege room which was huge and well appointed. It had bits that were a bit tired but neat and tidy. Luxuries include nespresso machine, iPod Dock (not for new...

When we checked in we were given a smoker's room so we asked to change. There was only one room available and I almost cried with disappointment when I saw it. We'd been here a few years back and had a great room and stay. Not this time. The room was tired, stained, damaged and noisy as the shutters and...

Your typical mid class Paris hotel in front of the railway station. Wake up at 05:00 am and board your Thalys or TGV at 06:00. Clean. Good wifi. Friendly reception. Nothing less. Nothing more. Ask for a room at the back if you want to make sure you have a quiet night. The main value proposition of this place is...

We've stayed here many a few times due to it's location, prior to further onward rail journeys further into Europe. Rooms are basic but very good, there ia a good varied brakfast. Staff are excellent, but better to have a good basic knowledge of the local language. Recommended

I'll be honest, I booked this hotel because it was cheap and close to Gare du Nord. I was on a two day trip to Paris, so wasn't too concerned about the hotel apart from those two criteria. I was astonished at just how lovely the hotel was, my room especially, and how quiet at night, but most of all...
